I have The Warriors on VHS. It's like a 30 year old tape I found in some used pawn store. I was all like what is this stylish looking 70s film with people dressed like Indians against the backdrop of an angry crowd?

$2 and I was damn surprised by how great it turned out being. Stylish and dreamlike. I wish I could go back to 70s NYC. Because modern NY is overpriced with too many condos and yuppies. Crime was rampant back then, but damn it was actually the exciting city. It's overpriced and Disneyfied now. You can't even drink fucking coffee on the subway. And Times Square hasn't had a porno theater in decades. Bars and clubs are required to close at a certain hour I think as well...

It's like all of what made the city cool has been oppressed today.
