Discuss the TV shows. What do you like, what you don't like, what you think could've been better, list your favourite ones and why you like them, any upcoming tv shows which you might know about, post them here.

I'll start off by asking, how many people like "Kenan & Kel"?

Edit : Oops.

I loved it, especially the Thanks Giving episode, when lost the "Orange Soda" bottle cap in the turkey, has to dig into the turkey to get it, and they wind up having to patch the turkey with slices of Turkey.

How long has it been since that show last aired?

Dexter

I'm absolutely in Love with this show. It's probably the most addicting series I've ever watched. Basically Dexter is the best character created in television history, amongst his co-starts which are all very well developed. The dark and ironic humour is hilarious, the way he kills people is pretty awesome; and there is just something about the tone of the show that makes it so watch-able.

Skins

Hilarious show about a group of people living their lives in the UK, some of you probably would have seen it.

Doctor Who

This is another show I watch every week. David Tennant just wins over all the other previous doctors in the series and really pulls it together. It's not super high-tech like all the other science fiction shows but it has definitely improved in the recent season; regardless, its less polished look gives it more character. All his missions and enemies are inventive and mostly humourous at the same time. The show also manages to have some pretty emotional moments as well.

Among other I watch Southpark and Drawn together but not really on a regular basis, just when they happen to be on Tv.

I'd quote Henrick's post if it wasn't a dick of a thing to do. I actually thought Skins got axed! Mind telling me when it's on? It's not on the newpaper TV guide. It wasn't when I saw the opening episode, the only ep I saw, either. Strange. Is it on SBS where you are too?

Can't help but agree with you on everything else, although I'm going to miss Dexter every time it's on. Inevitable. Oh well. Dr. Who is a bit like a bad habit I have. I love the show, but I almost feel bad for it. laugh2.gif

Also, in before House.

Skins is one of the greatest modern, pop-culture, teenager shows I've watched. I absolutely adored the second season/series and cannot wait till they make the inevitable third (inevitable due to events at the end of the last episode). smile.gif

Haha, I gotta say I feel the same about doctor who a bit, its a unique show.

As for skins, it was only delayed two weeks because of the Tour De France, but it will be back next monday.

I also forgot to mention Top Gear. That's another of my favourite shows of all time. I'm keen to see what the Australian version is like, but the reason I watch the show is more for Clarkson Hammond and May just dicking around because they're classic chaps.

I couldn't agree more. Dexter is absolutely great.

Used to love Family Guy. It's worn off a bit but I still find it entertaining. House is really good too. But I've been right into South Park lately. Funny shit.

I watch frequently Dr. House and The Unit. The TV channels what I watch haven't bought in the new episodes of the LOST and Las Vegas yet.

Recently watched a couple of episodes of the Shield and found it amazing. Have bought the first 2 seasons on DVD and am spending any free time at night watching my way through them. I would definitely recommend it to anyone that's a fan of police drama/action shows. bigsmile.gif

That show is fantastic. I remember watching it back when it was on TV. Definitely one of the better crime dramas out there.

I agree with Dexter. It's amazing.

I used to watch Prison Break before it went to Sky. Cunts.

Now the only TV programme I watch religiously is The F Word and Hells Kitchen when it's on.

I'm surprised to see that nobody has mentioned Heroes. I thought it was really popular.

I love Bravo's reality/game shows. Project Runway, Shear Genius, In Design. To a lesser extent Top Chef. I could've done without Step It Up and Dance and I Want to Be a Supermodel though. What the hell makes anyone think America would "vote" properly on technical skill as opposed to who looks the hottest... And aren't there already, like, three dancing shows? I like the Kathy Griffin show too. And that one with the lesbian gym owner. And The Real Housewives of New York.

I also like Kitchen Nightmares. British or American, either one is good.

I wonder about BBC America because not everything on that channel is grade A shit. So I wonder if British television is better and they just picked the shit they thought us dumb Americans would like or if their television is just as craptastic as ours. I like that show with the two matronly ladies who go to people's houses, yell at them for being disgusting, and then clean their houses. And the one where the skinny yet stern lady goes to people's houses, yells at them for being fat fucks, and makes them eat proper food.

I watch a lot of the Crime and Investigation Network. They have a lot of good documentaries. One of my favorite shows on that station is Parole Board. I like it because it's such a train wreck every time. They show three people going in for a parole hearing and you get to see the parole board pick at them and the prisoners fuck up in front of them. They make you wait until the end to see if they got parole or not. I find it curious because I can't imagine anyone really sits down to watch this show, so I can't figure why A&E thought it would be a good idea. I don't even plan to watch it. It just happens to be on a lot.

Believe it or not though, I actually don't watch a lot of television.

Project runway is one of my guilty pleasures, some of the contestants are so hilarious. I think the best season so far has been with Santino, Nick etc. But the latest one wasn't too bad either. Tim Gunn is a bit of a gem as well.
