Anyone heard of Bill Hicks?
I've beens saying that for years, and hardly anyone has, and its a fucking tragedy. Bill Hicks was a stand-up comedian from Texas who died in 1994 aged just 32. He was incendiary, incredibly sharp, always hilarious and the closest thing to a genius on stage i've ever met. Anyone whose ever heard or seen him will know what i mean. The man was the Jesus Christ of Comedy.
Wherever there was dark, he brought comic light. Wherever the modern world of hypicricy and shit got too much, he washed it all away, brutally exorcsing the demons of the media and governemnt from you. You left the stage feelign enlightened, happy, as if you'd just witnessed a sermon. He was amazing.
And now he's dead. The ones who know and love him lament his passing daily, but we try to keep his memory adn genius alive all the time by spreading his DVD and audio works as best we can. If ANYONE knows him or loves him, drop me a Reply here.
Thank you for reading my ravings.

I caught one of his shows on TV, it was pretty good. He had a cigarette in his hand thru the entire show. I dont remember too much of it, but I remember laughing.

Bill Hicks was a comic genious. His goat boy routine was basically a way to say some of the more contreversial things in his act without having to say it as himself. The first thing that jumps to mind when I think of his goat boy routine was when he was talking about pedophilia, and things of that nature.
The one problem with Bill is that many of his stuff didn't get an audience response. His tendency to get to angry on stage made many people miss his message. One that was actually of love, and universial understanding.
