Plutonium Runs Loose is fun, it just takes a lot of time to kill everyone on the level without raising an alarm.
HC47 remains one of my favorite games, because it's fun to fight. As much as it is fun to sneak. In latter games, sneaking is the same amount of fun, but fighting is just stupid.

Anyways, right now I'm more keen into bigger things (Blood Money)

Right now though I've been messing around with Jagged Alliance 1 & 2, and thinking of replaying Vampire: Bloodlines for kicks. By the time I'm done with all that, I'll likely have gotten hold of Blood Money, and once I've played it I'll probably feel like replaying the whole series (again), which will be fun.

I still play C47 now and again, but that's not really a big shock since I pretty much play all my old titles again eventually. I don't make a habit of buying games that suck, so after while the mood will strike me to go back to one of oodles of great titles.

Meh.. hard call.I have never played C47... I've only played Contracts unfortunatly.
Do you recommend it?
Contracts re-did many of the levels we had originally in C47.
Really, I would first reccomend grabbing a coppy of H2: SA, since it's all different levels and will therefore feel much more fresh. Once you've done that, and presumably by then probably also played through Blood Money a time or three, if you're really into the origins and nostalgia, or want to know first-hand all the story line details you missed out on, THEN try to find a copy of C47.
Otherwise, if you're just looking for another cool game in the series, and some dated gameplay issues are gonna bug you and you don't really want to play original versions of most of the Contracts levels, I'd say skip it, and catch up with any missing story elements via the web instead.
Having played C47 when it was new, it has quite a bit of significance for me, and in fact I still can't decide whether I liked it or SA better. I know I liked them both more than I liked contracts though.. but again, most people who begin with Contracts don't see it the same way, and are often rather dissapointed with C47 if they can actually find a copy in the first place.
So really it just comes down to what you'd be looking for, and how much effort you'd be willing to spend to track the thing down.

I am willing to track it down yes. And already got results , a friend of mine has an old CD that has it , had no trouble lending it to me. I am going to install it tonight and play though it a little bit.
About the level remakes, I am looking foward to see what the levels were like originaly in C47 , i have a very open mind about things.
I'm actualy looking foward to playing it. My next stop will be SA. I know a store that has it , although it is much easier to find then C47 , so the hard part is over. There is so much I missed in the Hitman series...
If you're wondering if I'm going to be making hundreds and hundreds of threads asking for help , I'm not , for the Forum's sake. I hope to finish SA before Blood Money comes out.

Edit: I just checked amazon USA and ebay USA; there are plenty of copies out there cheap, either used or new in jewel case only.

Here's an example: The Ambush at [...] Restaurant. The idea is to strangle the limo driver (while the target is eating at the restaurant), take his clothes, and use the disguise to plant a bomb in the limo. When target returns to the limo, you push the button.
But of course, "silent assassination" is for pussies. I buy several pistols and a kevlar. First thing is to take out the two guys guarding the left street, near the sniper rifle. But wait. First I take out the "walking" guard that comes out of that street - blow him away by peeking around the corner. In this game, nobody can see you when you peek. The other two guards run to examine the steaming body.
I "far-peek" around the corner (you can press the peek button twice to peek further), blow one away and wound the other one. I release the peek button just in time to get from under a stream of bullets the remaining guard unleashes at me. As soon as the last bullet hits the wall and he starts reloading, I peek again and take him out with three shots to the head. The first two only make him scream like a girl.
Next thing is to retrieve the sniper rifle. I take it and the ammo thingy, just as the limo passes by. I run back to the red truck and snipe some Blue Lotus skulls. The Blue Lotus hidden behind the wall from my view makes an intelligent decision. I put a bullet in his ear the moment he bends down to examine one of the bodies.
Damn civilians. They reported me. But you can't kill them because you loose too much money. Plus, it's not really fun - like drowning a blind kitten that doesn't have teeth to bite. The time grows short now - I must hurry back to the view of the limo, to take the target out before he gets in.
Here they are. The red dragon members at the doors collapse with violated skulls. The blue lotus near the limo sees me and opens fire. Several bullets land on the wall near me, and I take one in the head. I snipe him two times in the chest and run out of ammo. It's reloading time.
Never the less, blue lotus continues his attack. I get hit three times in the chest and once more in the head. Then I get hit four times in the neck from the right. It's the red dragon members - how could I forget about them?
I drop the rifle and run for my life. Blue lotus opens fire again and I get a few in my back. The two red dragons both open simultaneously with a stream of bullets flying past me. I love the controls! I run forward, run-strafing as fast as I can. Left right left right, and behind the corner. You can change directions instantly in this game, which makes bullet dodging a lot of fun. About 10% health left, but I managed to escape most of the bullets.
I turn to flank the three bastards behind me, and find myself staring down the barrel of the limo driver's gun. He manages to put some in my neck before I baller him. I reload the baller, and pick up his gun. With both guns in my hands, the guards should find their health at 0% pretty quickly. Now it's my 1% against theirs... I peek around the corner and fire. My bullets hit the wall just as I realize that I didn't peek far enough. Then the world turns white, and I press escape before my heart slows to a complete stop.
And don't get me started on The Setup
