Well, I'm sure it can't be Mei Ling, she looks nothing like her, except their body structures are a bit similar. Possibly from the franchise, what would she be other than an assassin? My initial thought was that she was Vaanya Ketlyn, but that's pretty stupid.

But notice in the loading screen that when you see Chad and Lorne, there's also a small yet noticable question mark? That and of course that she appears in red make it pretty clear she's a target. It would be pretty obvious that she's part of the franchise, or it's just another easter egg of sorts that adds a bit to the backstory, like Malcolm's freaky shrine

If you make the first move to kill her she never shows up as a target. You have to wait until the cutscene before she shows up as a target. But no matter who draws first, it always shows up as an innocent person getting killed in the newpaper and such.

EDIT: i used the phrase "shows up" in every sentnce...geez

Well the woman could have been a member of the ICA, and then defected to the Franchise that could be why she has the tatoo.

She's probably from the agency, take a look at this:

While that's some good detective work matching that to the agency logo, I think she's from 'The Franchise', because

a) Alexender Cayne mentions they sent someone in to get 47 on that mission (ie. her)

b)47 works for the Agency....why would someone from the agency be there to kill someone else from the Agency?

Anyhow, as planzer says, threads about this girl are getting tedous, I urge people to use the search function.

I'm going to leave this one open because of OhYeah's and Conny's effort with screenshots, theories etc., but all other girl threads are getting locked on sight (not that they haven't been already).

I have also edited the title of this thread so that it covers all the words I can think someone might use to search on the subject. Also, moving to BM general.

Maybe she worked 4 the agency, but cayne payed her 2 swap sides.

BTW, how does she kill u? Does she do it in a cut scene or something? Cos I don't have the game yet.

I been reading alot of posts about "when she says men are so easy I pulled out me gun and shot her" and stuff like my quick question is when you enter the room in automaticly goes to the cut scene are you guys saying that if you pushed buttons on the controller you can get out of the cut scene and fight her ?

People were talking about her on the GameFAQs message boards as well. A couple people said that if you are shimmying along the side of the mountain (with the bats flying over your head) and she is still alive/awake, it sometimes goes into a cutscene where she jabs an ice pick into the side of your neck :wtf:

I think the scene may be divided into two cutscenes....
Because she pulls out her pick/knife in-game and not in a cutscene.

As she's doing this in-game...you can strike. You have about a second, maybe less. I actually did her once by running quickly behind her and pulling out my poisoned syringe.

Once you have distance and she switches to her H&K USP then there will be no more knife kill scene.

I must say I played that mission yesterday and did all the right things on my way to SA rating and when I was returning from the balcony where I pushed the cocky senator's bratt, I entered her room just out of curiousity.
Imagine my surprise when she poked me!!!

2 unanswered questions about her:

1. How do I get rid of her and still keep the SA rating?
2. Does it affect the game flow later on if I kill her or not? I mean, will I meet her again in some other mission if she is alive?
