Try running the game from the directory in which it was installed. Don't use the shortcut, if that don't help I can send you the dll

Hi, i got this error when i run it from its directory . I search my hard disk and INTERNET and can't still find the DLL file . please send me this dll to taha_bazri@yahoo.com

Sometimes missing .dll files are a bad install. If he sends you the missing p5dll.dll and then you get another missing .dll file, reinstall the game totally. I have tried replacing missing .dll files in other applications, only to find you are missing a dozen, and you are wasting your time replacing them instead of reinstalling.

I, too, got this message:

"A required .DLL file was not found: P5DLL.DLL not found"

I bought the game, all $49.95 of it and it just keeps crashing to desktop every single time. Got a new video card and a new CD-ROM drive. Downloaded and installed the patch. STILL nothing. PLEASE can someone tell me what to do? Exchange the game for a new one? It's frustrating me and making me not like EIDOS very much. Thanks. eye_report@hotmail.com

as far as i know, only cracked versions have the p5dll problem. if you paid for yours, then that sucks eidos tech support doesn't help much. i wish i knew what to do, but i have no idea.

It does seem to be a problem exclusive to people dl'ing the game..

Google didn't help me with other sites.

I'm sure you've all tried reinstalling again and again. Try exchanging your cd's, though I doubt that three independent people would ALL have corrupted cd's..
