Batman Begins sequel has been officially name " The Dark Knight" but from a marketing perspective i expect it to turn into, "Batman: The Dark Knight", as to avoid confusion.

I can't wait for this movie, because Batman Begins was the best Superhero movie i've seen, and Chris Nolans approach at a superhero, with no powers, was awesome. And he also said there will be no Robin in his movie, so thats another good factor (but Sam Ramai sed there would be no Venom in his)

Heath Ledger Has been cast as The Joker, Which is a bit of a surprise because i've never seen him act in such a way which could portray he has the talent to pull off the Joker, but Nolan said Joker would be different that Jack Nicholsons Joker, but in a good way.
More gritty, Realism i Hope. The Dark Knight will, apparently see the return of The Scarecrow, although i don't think its stated on IMDB, it will also see the arrival of DA Harvey Dent aka Two Face.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0468569/
Apparently Heath Ledger is Cast twice as the joker, but thats only rumored(look at Imdb page.)

And they wont be killing the Joker off in this one either as apparently the third one is already scripted and concerns both the trial of the Joker and the origin of Two Face (who it is rumoured will be played by Guy Pearce).

Its not scripted, but thats the basic idea around which the script will be based. I didn't know about the Guy Pirce bit tho. But two face was meant to be really man-pretty, and guy pirce looks like a donkey.

I thought Batman begins blew Burtons batmans away. Or was at leas tons ome level Comparable. The first Batman movie was pretty good. All others Except Begins sucked, to me at least.

oh man i thought burtons 2 batmans were so awesome.
Like i think batman begins is all fluff with the kung fu ninja stuff.
I thought burtons was awesome how no one knew if batman was man or a creature or monster at first, and how he was chunking guys off buildings, and Jack as the joker ruled.
Plus when the penguin bit of the guys face...and in the first one when it implys batman raped vicky vail(he didnt but it gives the impression for a bit before it shows that he only took the photos)
Awesome.
Batman begins was like "I know kung fu and dress like a bat fear me altho i wont ever kill you"
Keaton was way more pshyco and fun.

Yeah adrian ftw. I've never seen any of the old batman movies so i dont really know what the joker is like, but i think adrian could act just about anyone. Can't wait till this comes out.

There is no "different from Jack Nicholson but in a good way".
Other than that, looking forward to it.

Yah but thats the point. Batman does know all sorts of martial arts and fighting techniques and doesn't throw people off of buildings.
A lot of the first film went against Batmans character, but it still managed to maintain a lot of awesomeness.

I watched Batman Begins for then first time last night and I was a bit disappointed.

For one thing I thought Batman was supposed to be stealthy, what the hell was that car chase about? I'm not a diehard fan but from what I gather Batman wouldn't cause that much destruction. I also thought the explanation of how he accquired his hi-tech gear was lazy, the training by some mysterious Asian master high in the snowy mountains was cliched, and nothing seemed to fit with the rest of the films.

So, they're just ignoring the old films? I don't see why they have to retell the Twoface and Joker stories. Perhaps seeing them as a child influenced my opinion and I enjoy them purely for nostalgia, but I don't think they were that bad.
