He's a Pennsylvania Treasurer who was found guilty of stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars in government funds. He claimed that he was innocent, but his suicide to avoid jail time makes me suspicious.

He didn't do it to avoid jail time, he did it on the last day in office so that his family would be supported indefinitely by the government at the standard of living he enjoyed as a treasurer.

Really fucking tragic and chilling, the first time I saw it it punctured right through my thick wall of desensitization and just smacked me in the face.

Also, that version of the video is terrible, it takes all of the build and the tension and tragedy out of it for a cheap joke.




What really gets to me is how he pleads for others to stay back because he might accidentally hurt someone, when I saw another version this video as a preteen it really snapped me out of a long phase of desensitization.

But he was convicted. The day after that statement, he was scheduled to serve a 55-year sentence in jail, and as old as he already was, he wouldn't have gotten out until he was over a century old. It is thoughtful what he did for his family, but still, kinda hard to feel sorry for the guilty.

What's annoying me is that a lot of people are screaming "OH SHIT ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE IS GOING TO START". As if they want that shit to happen just so they can relive their favorite zombie movies or series in real life.

It's true, this kind of shit happens all day erry day in the world of drugs. Not to mention the people who actually want a zombie outbreak to happen were too busy playing them on videogames, to have the physical capabilities of putting up with one.

I imagine if it'd actually happen in real life, it would be under control by midday by the military.
