Do you think a Hitman game on PSP could work? If so, how? Would a coherent, original storyline based on 47 or another assassin be your preferred choice for a Hitman PSP game? Or maybe a port of a previous Hitman game? Or a set of missions with various playable characters, taking place throughout and maybe before the franchise?

I see it as a PSP game but if released I would like to see Hitman 5 on PSP.

Sadly, if the graphics were downgraded, Blood Money would work on PSP. I am hoping for true next-generation gameplay with Hitman V, so I expect that to not come out on PS2 and XBOX, let alone PSP. I think that a game with various missions involving the DWTD assassins, Parchezzi & Mr. 17 would be better.

True but if a ps2 version was to be released it would not have the same amount of graphics and not as sharp but the features would be the same.

I think this would be great for IOI since they would sell a lot more games if they brought it out on PSP... But I think the PSP-gamers wouldn't be happy since the PSP graphics aren't great...

I dont think hitman should be on psp, cause you cant see much, and that ruins.

True. Ok are we playing PSP Trivia where you only say true or false? Anyway, I think it would be awesme but maybe a PSP game with a story gap between Requiem and Hitman 5?

Seriously Cold Shadow, that is obviously just to up your post count, only post if you've got something to say, hell in other threads you do it as well, just quotes and 1 or 2 words.

On-Topic, I don't think the Himan series should be extended to another Platform, it should just go back to Pc only, like back in the days of CN47, the more platforms, the worse the game.

Although, if you mean Psp only, it would automatically suggest to me, that it's not a good enough game to go Pc, in which case it wouldn't be worthwhile. Plus there could be no Key story if it was Psp only, because everyone else would miss out.

Think ive done this thread before.... Trouble with PSP its fine but with Himan you need as much control over the handset as possible so on a psp unit its difficult to master stealth.

well if it were for PSP, it would only sell if it had its own exclusive PSP story line, now it doesnt have to be an important story of the series but enough to be fun and give some juicy background info on 47 or some characters we were already introduced to on the other games... it would have to stick to the basic hitman gameplay, the graphics can be great if they wanted it to, has anyone played killzone liberation?... that game has great graphics for PSP and id love to play hitman on the road... hitman actually has a pretty simple control layout so it would be simple to make a PSP game with good solid controls, the only problem i see is aiming and so they might have to add an auto aim feature like all the PSP shooters.

They could create a control scheme that is based on the PS2 controller, but uses D-pad up and one of the shoulder buttons for L2 or R2. I have never played any Hitman PS2 games, so is R3 ever used? Also, for convenience, 'select' could be the map.
I would hope for something with Hitman 2 graphics, and to run on the same iteration of Glacier as Blood Money, but with the Codename 47-style dualwield added, the one in which you need to pick up two of one gun to use dual-wield.

i realy dont care how the graphics look as long as the game is fun, i love hitman games because they are fun and the replay value owns... its funny because i was a splintercell diehard fan but i never got the PSP game "essentials" because it didnt look that great and since i played the 1st 3, i knew the controls would have to suck, but after playing the hitman games and knowing they are easy to play as far as simple controls, it would be awesome on PSP and id love to buy it.

i was thinking about the conrol scheme on the PSP if they did make a hitman title for it and heres my idea for the best scheme:
R=hold to sneak
L=hold to run
up=drop item
down=scope view
left=1st person view
right=inventory(press to unsheath/hold 2sec to get menu)
analog=move
triangle=quick detinator(i know its not a control used in any game but id like to add it since i cant think of anything else to use for triangle... and i think its easier to push a button to blow up the bombs w/o having to go through the inventory to get the remote)
square=shoot
X=action
circle=pick up item
select=map
start=pause/menu

I think if they want they can make a psp game using your controls.

/\ should be briefing. The pause menu in the Hitman games has never also contained a briefing, and it makes more sense to seperate the two.

hmmm... i just feel the triangle, square, x, and circle buttons should be more important buttons needed during gameplay, not a map or briefing... how about they put the briefing in the map menu, like a side bar next to the map... how about i switch the inventory and detinator... we use the inventory all the time so its important enough to be on the main 4 buttons which we can push faster as we use the analog
