found the first one very enjoyable, well worth the £5 I think I've spotted it going for. I liked the subway as a kind of hub and the little touches, like at the start when you can watch a whole film with Jackie's GF on the couch if you are so inclined. I never did it, but the option is there if you wanna roleplay it to the max! I have fond memories of hiding in the dark watching whole popeye cartoons. I hope I didn't just dream that they were in there, it does seem kinda odd looking back. Is the second one not also developed by Starbreeze studios or did someone else take it :?

I'd buy any game they made tbh.

They should put the company in the title sometimes, kinda like how the always used to have 'Disney's' preceding the title with every film they released ;p

I haven't played any of their other games, but I do have Singularity sitting unopened on my shelf, hopefully that means its good then ;p picked it out to complete the 3-for-2 deal when I got Mass Effect and The Bourne Identity. I liked the demo and I'd still testify that its a good game too :B

I think I wrote a short review for Singularity somewhere. The time powers where you reverse ageing on stairs and that is silly but I really really loved the rest of the game and the offensive/defensive powers. There's some fantastic moments in the story and I think the atmosphere is at least as good as Bioshock.
Plus any game that has dismemberment in it gets my vote XD

Edit: Wolverine is a flawed gem as well. Well worth a look.

Started playing it, got just past where you meet the woman and swim through an underwater passage. I'm finding it pretty scary! I jumped a few times and everything, when I ran out of handgun clips and had to run and hope to find some ammo was pretty intense, I'm such a nervous wreck when it comes to these games haha, good so far though

Played the MGS3ds demo earlier, using face buttons as right analogue stick, flashbacks to the peace walker on psp; horrible! Not sure if I want the circle pad pro thing either.

I really like the foliage and crawling through the grass in 3d, it looks great and the depth helps you to make out the enemies through the foliage really well. Oddly when you aim down the sight though it reverts to 2d mode which is jarring. Still, looking forward to playing the whole thing with the upgraded graphics etc.

Whenever I play a 3ds game in 3d I *always* spent 90% of my time wondering to myself if there really isn't a way to do anti-aliasing on the 3d image to get rid of all the extra jaggies that turning it on seems to create.

Bit of an odd one buuuut: has anyone played WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010?
I remember playing Smackdown.......over a decade ago I think with a buddy and loved it. Game have got this one for £2 and I'm tempted but don't know if it's actually shit though. Really fancy an awesome (if embarrassing) nostalgia trip.

Nvm: Just went out of stock. Genuinely quite sad about it XD

I actually ended up using my Game points to get Smackdown Vs Raw 2011, and I'm genuinely really looking forward to getting it.
Like I said I've not played a Wrasslin' game in over a decade so I'm not really sure why I suddenly got the compulsion to get one.....still, glad I spent my Game points as it looks like Game are going to be going into administration. They've apparently got 2 weeks to get their shit straight....G'luck with that.

Apparently they took it out because they want the kills to be incredibly sadistic and they found that with dismemberment it was taking away from that. I'll find the article.

yeh i've got it, also for Nostalgia reasons, also the CaW is always quite comprehensive which I enjoy. Creating your own finisher, entrance movie and being able to import any music as your entrance music is also fun.

The A.I also has sliders so you can toggle what you find that they are doing too robotic (like a 85% reversal rate). Lots of match options and gameplay is fun and can go in depth. Career mode is on rails but enjoyable for one playthrough.

I tried it unpatched the other night......eesh. There was sound missing from hits and falls, music and commentary cut out too....I'll have to try it after the patch as that didn't leave a great impression XD

Has anyone played Ys Seven?

I'm wanting to play an RPG on my Vita and until a new one is released/PS1 compatibility is patched in I'm going to go for a PSP game.

I was going to get Breath of Fire 3, I played a few hours of it years ago and enjoyed it, but looking at it now it looks way dated (I hate RPG's where your characters don't actually attack enemies, they just swing their swird whilst standing in the same spot and the enemies take damage. Lame).

I want one for under £10 and Ys Seven looks kind of cool.

Failing that I might just get Tactics Ogre as it's fucking incredible and I never finished it on my PSP...

Ys is a great series, I'd even recommend the earlier ones.

I always wanted a good wrestling game but I find them not as satisfying to play as they seem in my head. Either the hit detection or controls or things they did in a certain way that don't feel right. Smackdown on the PS1 was good but I can't think of anything since then
