ayte homies and gals

You wanna talk about working out? Lets talk about working out. Do you work out? If so what is your routine? What parts of your body do you work out the most? Even if you work out for 10 seconds everyday or once a week.

Lifting pencils, throwing bricks, running away from cops, tired after getting laid so much. You name it.

I currently have been working out for only 2 times a week. Within 1 year and a half, I've got results. Im not in a hurry so I'm pretty satisfied. Working only 30-40 mins in the first day, second day is 30 mins only. I work out most of my upper buddy -

Push Ups
Curl Ups
Vertical Leg Crunch

I eat shitty food. Seriously (not junk food), though I am aware of what Im eating, most of the time it doesnt conflict with what I want to eat, cant eat etc. The only healthy thing I eat is oatmeals and whole wheat bread, one or 2 bites per day.

Share any experience you have with exercising or anything that makes you sweat :P

I love working out, I feel it should be done every day and so I try to do so. Mainly working on my pecks and biceps but I exercise loads of parts of my body like triceps, shoulders etc. Legs are quite important as well but I don't do them as much, I mainly work on my upper body, and I find that press ups and sit ups are very useful too. I also try and burn between 100-200 calories a day.

I consume a bowl of cereal every morning and I try to eat some fruits as well. I mainly love apples. My diet is ok I guess, but it mainly consists of pizza.

100 sit-ups
20 tricep-orientated press-ups (elbows against your body, rather than out to the side)
10 reps 28.5kg bicep curls
10 over-hand pull-ups
(repeat the latter three exercises five times)
100 sit-ups

Morning before work, evening after work, five days a week. To help my muscles recover I take 100% whey protein, one 'shake' after every workout. If it's the weekend (when I don't work out) I'll have one in the morning and one in the evening. None of that pro-gain popeye-powder shit.

I used to do a lot of running, but since my medical-discharge I can't really do so, bit of a pain as I enjoy cross-country running. However, I'm starting to put weight on in the form of lean muscle, which is good because I've been 6'1" and 12.5 stone (about 185lb) since I was fifteen and I'm looking to reach 13.5 stone. My workout strengthens my chest, arms, back and various abdominal muscles.

I do 75 sit ups, 20 chin ups, 20 push ups, a 30 second back extension. I also do lots of Gastroc stretches. I also do at least 2 km's of running.

I train about 3-5 times a fortnight, but run lots. I mostly just sit around all day, but I've lost 5 k's, within the past 2 weeks.

Eating is not a problem, but I always find myself eating a bit of chocolate every now and then. But, I can't complain, because I've got results.

I do 3 days a week, and work different muscle groups each time.

I do 3 sets on each exercise, unless otherwise noted, and I use a weight where I get 5-9 reps on the first set.

On tuesdays, I do regular and inclined bench, and after the 3rd set of each, I do 20-40 speed reps on a light weight.

I do 3 days a week, and work different muscle groups each time.

I do 3 sets on each exercise, unless otherwise noted, and I use a weight where I get 5-9 reps on the first set.

On tuesdays, I do:
Regular and inclined bench, and after the 3rd set of each, I do 20-40 speed reps on a light weight.
Tricep extensions (sometimes I substitute with dips)
Two-way skullcrusher speed reps, with very light weight. It pretty much finishes off your chest and tri's :P
Straight bicep curls with barbell, then 20-40 speed reps with 20 pound barbell
Forearm curls with barbell, and 20-40 speed reps with 20 pound barbell
Basketball with friends at the gym or 15-20 minutes of cardio on the bike machine

Wednesdays:
Military (shoulder) press, with speed reps
High pulls
3-way shoulder exercise
Pulldowns
Seated Rows
Some sort of ab workout (bleh)
15-20 minutes on cardio bike

Friday:
Regular and inclined bench, and after the 3rd set of each, I do 20-40 speed reps on a light weight.
Tricep extensions (sometimes I substitute with dips)
Chest flies, with short movement speed reps
Squats
Leg curls
15-20 minutes on cardio bike

Since I've been on this routine, I've went from a size 42 to 36 in pants, which is about as small as I'll be able to wear with my build. I'm 6'1, 223 pounds right now, and finding clothes on the rack that fit me right is almost impossible :D

Edit: forgive the double post, my computer flipped out and double posted while I was typing.

And I can't really say I enjoy working out, although it does make you feel better at the end.

I jog for about 5 miles. Normally in about 40 min - 1 hour. I try to do this at least 3 or 4 times a week. I never try to kill myself, but I always make sure I jog just right. I do it because I want to feel healthier, not so much for losing weight.

Other times I just jog on some random path in the woods for the hell of it. I love exploring.
But I have been finding bones and skeletons in the woods lately.. :wtf: ..Should I be concerned?

Well, I do work out my right hand's wrist rather vigerously almost twice a day, but it deosn't really count, as its usually followed by lots of pie and whipped cream...

What changed your mind?

I was tired of being ashamed of my appearance, and feeling like sh*t, for lack of better words. I just feel better all around when I'm taking care of my health. I love that small feeling of accomplishment I get from moving up in weight also, as well as on the scale.

I'll also add that I eat pretty healthy. You don't have to be hungry all the time and eat food that sucks to be a healthy eater, honestly. Anyone ever heard of Weight Watchers? Their recommendations are actually VERY good, even if you are wanting to build muscle. As their adds say, it isn't a diet at all, but it just changes your eating habits. For example, I look for lean meats, foods with whole grain (and fiber), and I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. The key to it all is to just to be conscious about what is going into your body, and how it will affect your body :P
