I cant find the hitmancontracts.ini file on my computer. Could someone please give me instructions on how to do it. If you know how, please please post it. thank-you

Go to 'start' and then click 'my computer', select 'local disk (C:)' and then open the 'program files' folder. Search for the 'eidos interactive' folder, select your game... and the 'hitmancontracts.ini' file should be located in the game's folder.

Thanks, i got up to searching for eidos interactive folder but it wasnt there.

MMM...it's strange....it would be a log file....., try to open any text file in the folder....let me know about this attempt....

Go to that file where you installed it. There should be two files called HitmanContracts, one is to start the game and the other one without the Fleur de Lys image is the .ini file.

Well..I know that there is a text file. I found it when I played the demo version...Now I have the PS2 version because I have problems with my pc

Ok, Ive done the adding on EnableConsole & EnableCheats bit but where shall i save it to because it will only allow me to save it in "My Documents", does this matter?

Maybe it's write-protected.
try right-clicking on the INI file, click properties, then uncheck read-only and click okay. Then retry the above steps.

I went into its properties but the read-only box was already unchecked, so i went into the security tab.
It had something to do with permissions for editing the file. I cant tick any of the boxes that allow me to modify the ini. file, there all blocked out.
You should have a look. And in the ini.file the following lines are what i have put at the end after 'PostFilterLOD 1'
EnableConsole 1
EnableCheats 1
This is right isnt it?

to do this right click the word thing and click edit go to bottem of page and put the thing in make sure you pressed the big butten with the arrow sorry about this i forgot what its called then click save it should let you then your done play with cheats press shift-esc to get menu up
