After that i guess i got caught up in studying and drinking because i stopped watching it, looking at Box-sets now it's a bit too expensive for my liking.
Maybe if i get my commission for this quarter i'll treat myself.

I have an obsessive question about House. Someone must know...
How many canes did House have?
I know he had one in Season 1, but got a new one, Cameron commented on it. Then, Wilson shaved through that one and it broke. Then, he got the fire cane. He may have lost that one in the bus crash... That's 3! Any I missed?

Edit..we have most of them. I found this
http://www.fanpop.co...icks/show/36268
Original Cane:

I think it was broken in real life.
Silver cane:
http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:A_21sS31E4GJOM:http://www.canesgalore.com/images/13100.jpg
In Season 1 "Sports Medicine" he has it and again in Season 2's "All In".
New Cane:

Cameron comments on it in the Season 1 episode "Kids". Then, in Season 2 "Safe" Wilson is annoyed at House for eating his food so he files through it and it breaks.
Brown Rounded:

In "Sleeping Dogs Lie," he suddenly gets this one with no explanation. In season 3 "Whack a Mole" the physical therapist tells him to use the metal Hospital cane."
Hospital Cane, Part 1
House has it briefly in "Whack a Mole" then he steals an old man's cane and gives him the hospital cane.
Brown, like third cane
It looks like the third cane but darker brown. It is lost when Hector chews through it and it snaps in "Family"
Hospital Cane, Part 2
House has it briefly in Season 3 "Family."
Flame Cane:

House buys this in "Family" to replace the old one. It is lost in Season 4 "House's Head."
Newest Cane:
In Wilson's Heart, House a has new cane. It looks like the brown rounded one but lighter.
That is all....

In Wilson's Heart he definitely remembers it being brought on the bus.

He is finally shown hallucinating with his new cane at some point, but I can't find the video...

But yeah, that is what I'm doing, I'm partway through Season 2. I did take a break to watch season 4 when it came out, so I'm probably not going to watch it again for a while. House does the same crazy stuff he always did, so I guess the show is not exactly becoming a soap opera... Like the thing with Mark and drugging him and Chasing Stacy...

I did say I have an obsessive question... I just always have concern for character possessions. Like Luke Skywalker's lightsaber... Did he keep the green one through out all the expanded universe stuff? But that is for another thread.
For another thread, yes, although it was changed simple so it would show up during the Sarlacc pit scene. Peraps it was kept, can't say though.
I need to re-watch House. I intended to a few weeks back, but as I checked the episode list I realised I have seen half the episodes in every season and CBA to watch them again.
The only TV show I look forward to (rather than just watch) is Lost. Season 5 isn't far away (well, it is, but that doesn't matter).

Anyone like Arrested Development? That is probably my favorite comedy... I've never gotten attached to the characters like on that show. It was a shame for it get canceled. I still need to get Season 3 on DVD, but I taped them from TV, so I'm not in a hurry.

The most popular American sitcoms are usually a powerpunch packet of jokes which are rattled off in machine gun fire. That's what Americans have gotten used to, I'm not blaming the American population. It's not your fault that the TV you've been force fed over generations is dire.
Thanks to the Internet the TV stations are beginning to see that Americans don't want another Friends or Cheers or Everybody Loves Raymond. Your comedy is getting better, but it's come a bit too late for Arrested Development. The fact that your TV stations have no balls is also annoying, a couple of bad ratings figures and they shift it from prime time to 1:00 in the morning.
Lets just say that fate did not smile upon Arrested Development.

Lol...I think many people think that and is why they never liked it. You kind of have to watch it for a bit and get attached to the events. The characters are all quite lovable despite their dysfunctions. Another thing is that the show has a series of running gags. A joke will be repeated or foreshadowed that is just really cool. It makes it even funnier, but also means you have to pay attention to everything. Whenever I rewatch the shows, I notice new things I didn't see before. They put such attention to detail in it, its wonderful.
For the record, I loathe Everybody Loves Raymond, and used to like, but now hate Friends. I grew up on the stuff and I still hate it. I've started to like British comedy and I find the style of humor to suit me better.

We have some real shite over here. The good stuff, like Only Fools and Horses and Black Adder, are classics, but most of our comedy shows, new and old, suck. Guess it's the same everywhere though.
Anyone watch Phoenix Nights when it was on? That was brilliant. That and the IT Crowd, they're making an American version of that now.
Bottom, that's another great old comedy.

To try and stay sort of on topic. I've been watching Reaper lately, and I've become completely engrossed in it. I don't know if it's Kevin Smith's input that does it for me but I am completely in love with it. It's not the sort of show I'd usually go for but I'm really liking it.
Major: If it was the complete opposite of what I said wouldn't it have been a ratings smash?
Symbiote: When I hear people refer to British comedy I automatically think of cult shows like Blackadder, Father Ted, The Young Ones. I also find that these are mainly what people are referring to. British comedy is so diverse and I honestly think comedy has, or should I say had, the best chance in our country. Take shows like Brass Eye, I'm Alan partridge or Peep Show; I honestly could not see any of those lasting past one episode in another country and they all turned out to be utterly fantastic. The same goes for Phoenix Nights.

That's the one about the kid that becomes Satan's 'demon-wrangler' right?
Never watched it until a few days ago when I saw the first episode in some weird TV schedule glitch, and thought it was absolutely brilliant.
