Basically, this thread is just a general "hi, what's up - how are things?" topic. You can talk about pretty much whatever the fuck; what you've been up lately, current passions, projects, and/or hobbies, etc.

I'll kick this off.

Well, lately I've been staying with my dad, as my mom, stepdad, and little sister have all just moved into this thrice as big house (compared to my old one) out in the sticks; about 20 miles away from town. A lot of fucking work, but it's kind of cool too; it gives me a good reason to get rid of a cornucopia of stuff I rarely use anymore.

When I was staying with my dad and uncle, we were working on a LOT of things, and I've been catching back up on my writing, which is great.

Also, when I showed up for my GED class today (I hadn't been there in about a week - even though the class is only 2 days out of the week itself), I got a shit-ton done.

Only thing is I'm trying to organize this party with a couple other friends, and if things work out it will be really cool - and I hope to hook up with this girl there which I've liked for about a year now. It's been a bit stressful, but if I can get together the necessary funds and find a place where minors won't get caught by the cops (I envy the Euro kids, by the way) I think things will be just grand.

Go AWAY!

I don't really have anything worth posting right now; so someone else go next. @Steaming Bowel Movement(s), so you're house is 20 miles from the nearest town? And I thought I had it bad...

Which brings me to my next point, I *heart* New York! Seriously, I'm totally moving there when I'm older, I hate where I live.

I also have oilly skin, any one have any tips on how to solve that?

@Steaming Bowel Movement(s), you might consider changing the name of this thread to something more sensical... (at first I thought it was gonna be about food)

Yup, it's shite. There's a bus which runs into town every hour. I fucking hate it, talk about barely any social life.

Oh, well. I'm probably not going to be living here for a while (hopefully). This place is bunk shit dude.

And, about New York:

I'd move there, but it's not on my top ten list of places to live.

As for the oily skin - use nothing but bar soap - it'll take away a lot of the moisture.

And, yeah, I'll change the name.

What caught my attention was the fact that your parents are separated. Well not really caught, but yeah watevr. Well also the thing is i'm confused, do you live in new york? I get the feeling you probably used to. Well good. You dont have much of social life. For me, if anyone cares (fuck you), all my best friends have gone to an annual camp and I'm stuck at home, with boredom, washing dishes, sweeping the house (raking leaves tomorrow), playing "scare the shit out of someone" with my cousin who's the only other inhabitant during the day. The only thing I'm really looking forward to is my PS3 and my sister coming home for the holidays. I'm drinking tea right now, with an ache in my gum. I guess all I do everyday is, Chores, watch one piece, come here and sleep.

Lots & nothing at all.
I've got a wedding to attend this w/end.
Which isn't that exciting as I'm not well acquainted with the couple in question
(haven't even met em, friend of an aunt's friend)
but I'm only going because it's up North
& I haven't been to the capital so yeah, it's something different =]

Other than that, blargh it's the holidays.
Work, early morning cruises, nervously anticipating exam results =/

Nope, never have lived in New York (I assume you were referring to me). I wouldn't mind visiting it someday, but I wouldn't trip if it never happened. I've got bigger fish to fry, I guess I could say.

I do have much of a social life, and it sucks living out here. I'm just glad I can bus though.

Anyway, which camp is this that they've all gone to?

And, do you live out of town?

I knew what it was about, it's hardly cryptic. LEave it as is.

Crap to hear you're now living in the middle of nowhere, but it has it's advantages.

Maybe so, I just haven't found them yet.

I just got my Crosman Quest in addition to my NC star scope. it is a 1000 FPS break barrel w/scope and it only cost $100! :( the stock scope is shit which is why I hooked up my NC Star. I haven't really sighted it yet cause I'm still pretty new to airguns but does anyone know how far a 1000 FPS air rifle is accurate up to. My freind told me about a football field(100yds) but idk.

I read that jonas' friends had gone to anal camp.

Where is this camp?

It's near my house.
I'm one of the counselors.

I like to get away to the sticks for fun camping or whatever, but the city has its advantages. The stores are all nearby and stuff... I bet the stars are beautiful at night though.

Since June I've been working as a construction supervisor overseeing a rehab on low-income apartments. It's stressful because I'm away from home but the money is good since I don't pay for rent or meals or gas. It's a very tricky job because the people whose apartments we rehab rarely if ever work and some tenants trash them as soon as we complete them. The company I work for is essentially giving them about 25 grand of free shit (cabinets, appliances, washer/dryers, new flooring). That's not to say that they are all bad, however. The hard part of the job is accepting that some people don't care and to revel in the fact that many do appreciate that we are attempting to raise their standard of living. It's tough but I think I will continue doing it given the sour nature of the economy. I might continue on with more schooling in the future but I can't make up my mind on a specific field to pursue. End rant.
