Lately I've been reading a lot, doing some studying for midterms coming up and some leisure study. In AP government myself and about 8 other people are partaking in a mock trial competition, in which we actually pose as lawyers and compete with schools across the state in a mock civil-case. It's all rather interesting and has taught me to appreciate the work of a lawyer, which I never have before.
Apart from that, yeah. Good stuff.

Have you tried the Nivea for Men face wash? It comes in a little clear tube thingy. It will burn like hell the first few times you use it, it will peel your skin for about three days, and will make you break out like a motherfucker for about two weeks, but after that, if it's going to work it's going to really work.Go AWAY!Merces Letifer
what the shit? who cares dude?
I don't really have anything worth posting right now; so someone else go next. @Steaming Bowel Movement(s), so you're house is 20 miles from the nearest town? And I thought I had it bad...
Which brings me to my next point, I *heart* New York! Seriously, I'm totally moving there when I'm older, I hate where I live.
I also have oilly skin, any one have any tips on how to solve that?
@Steaming Bowel Movement(s), you might consider changing the name of this thread to something more sensical... (at first I thought it was gonna be about food)

Anyway, it was loads of fun, 'cept for my brothers. They kept harping on about my lack of social skills and everyone's annoyance at me, but really the only people who were annoyed were them and this dude named Victor who's of no importance to this story.
Yesterday, the last proper day of camp, we had kayaking followed by abseiling followed by a two hour walk into town from the campsite and back followed by a theory test followed by me walking around the place and chatting with dudes and dudettes until two o'clock when I finally managed to find a comfortable place in my tent. That was a bit of a challenge because our insect net zip was broken so we had to use the main flap which made the ventilation stop almost completely and the ground under my sleeping bag had a huge lump in the middle that I had to curl around.
Right before we got on the bus back home there was a vote for a bunch of trophies for campers. Most Creative, Most Caring, Most Friendly, stuff like that. One of my friends won three trophies, and I won Most Friendly. Sure showed my brothers with that one, I did. It's a funny story actually. It was a five-way tie with three votes for each candidate and then two votes came in from me. After a bit of asking around I found out that those two votes were from these dudes who didn't know who to vote for and wrote my name for a laugh. Haha.
I sang to myself on the bus ride back, and ended up recalling a whole bunch of songs that I'd lost when my external hard disk drive lost compatability with my computer a year or so ago, so I downloaded a bunch of 'em when I got back. I ended up with way too much Avril Lavigne, almost all of it downloaded by some dumbass who had put "Avril avigne" in the album field of the iTunes information, so I had to clear that field everytime I put a new song in my library.
I spent most of my time after getting home listening to music I've downloaded and reading up on Cracked Articles and Hitmanforum Threads that were made and updated while I was away. Helio as an Oblivion character, o lawd.
I thought that attending camp and participating in the activities was all I needed to get the four badges (Expedition, camping, nature awareness and water adventure), but apparently I have to type my log book into the computer, print out the log book, attach it to a report on the two-hour walk and a short article on five animals and five plants that we saw/collected at camp. Having work during holidays is a bummer, but I've got a month to do it, so there's plenty of time to procrastinate.
I also ended up watching the music video for Stacy's Mom on YouTube. It's a pretty well-made music video. It's going on my music video top ten list if I ever need to make one.
Finally, you guys should listen to the Bing Crosby and Doris Day duet for "Baby, It's Cold Outside" if you're in a nostalgic mood 'cause of Fallout 3 or if you just wanna hear a great song. I can't wait 'till the day that I have an appropriate reason to duet that with someone.

I'm not sure exactly what it is, it seems to reduce swelling of pimples and pull whatever is in them out, thus making you break out. Once everything large is out, upkeep means that nothing shows up as it pulls stuff out of your skin. You do have to use it twice a day, but in the shower and just before bed aren't too much of a hassle. Is it like a Chemical peel or something; because I might just try that! :good:

I finished reading through the Bible today. I've been reading two Old Testament chapters and one New Testament chapter each morning for the past two years. Finished the New Testament something like half a year ago, and now I've done the same with the Old Testament.
I still know roughly as much about Christianity as I did when I started. I've found maybe five verses that I remember, and all of them had to do with stuff like Moses sacrifing virgins and the punishment for rape (A few hundred dollars worth of coins and marriage to the victim) and how women should keep silent in church and cover their heads and such. I wonder what that says about me.

Did you notice any particular errors or contradicting verses?
What do you think about the trinity?
I've always found it hard to get my head around that concept.

Sonny and I live on the top of a hilly range, so we're pretty safe as far as flooding goes. Still pretty eerie to hear reports of people getting swept away in their cars the next day. Seen some shots of people in boats in their streets, but didn't catch where they were. Probably a bit south of here. There's been charity drives all week on the free-to-air channels for the victims.
So yeah, that's what's up. I actually am cooking stew at the moment. Potatoes and some sort of dead animal or another.
Kudos to Shaun. I'm sure you learned some valuable lessons, like that one bloke who tore down a temple with his bare hands because a voice in his head told him too. Hmm...what was his name again?

@Aggie
I may have found some contradicting stuff, but I've forgotten them if I have. I know that the New Testament and Old Testament are pretty much completely different in terms of how sinners are treated. In the Old Testament it's all "stone them at the city gates" this and "dash their little ones against the rocks" that but in the New Testament it's all "Do unto others as you'd have them do unto you" and "If someone steals your coat, give him your shirt; if someone slaps your cheek, turn the other one". God becomes a total softie during the 300-or-so years in between the two testaments..
