America, and they did a terrible. Where's New York, or Boston? Miami Beach? San Francisco?

Well, the Holland missions were okay, but nothing really mentionworthy. The architecture and buildings were okay, although it was nothing inspired by actual Dutch architecture. More felt like a slightly more coloured and touched up USSR type texture. The voice acting was great in parts (the Biker gang leader), acceptable (the Biker guards, the harbour workers) to atrociously abysmal (the hookers, the sole guard near the car in "Deadly Cargo").

I don't get why Brussels (the sole excuse why my pathetic piece of a country still exists after nearly two centuries), the administrative-business capital of Belgium was never used. There's enough potential story-targets there, but it crooked CEO's, money-grubbing politicians, criminal refugees of/with questionable backgrounds-affiliations in their homecountry, etc.

Hell yeah, San Francisco. I used to live there, as far as cities in the New World goes, it's absolutely stunning.
Since they were going into Northern California anyway, what's preventing having a hit on those narrow streets?

No missions in Serbia... No missions on the balkans all together.

One of the most epic hits on a real great man happened here. Chest hit from a mile away with a sniper rifle. Socialists answer to democracy like that over here... Killed a really great man.

So it could be an awesome place for a hitman game :D

But nah.. The balkans are too bad-ass for any Hitman to handle...

No Finland in Hitman games. I guess it would be just way too similiar to Russia. Just snow everywhere. Of course the people would speak a different language.
I think only some rally games, Enemy Territory: Quake Wars and Tom Clancy's Endwar feature Finland.

When you kill for money, there are no rules.

The Small fixes thread. IOI employees and Hitman developers, please take a look at the thread. At the moment there are about 80 small or smallish things that the fans would like to see improved. Many would improve gameplay and shouldn't be too difficult to fix before Absolution is released.

Beldingford Manor -can't be mad as it was one of the better levels from Contracts imo.

I find this an interesting thread, to me personally there being plenty of cultures here, but unfortunately I dont have a country that was set in Hitman. My home country, well my parents were from Mexico, I still visit it here and there. the only one similar to it is the level in Chile in BM because they speak spanish and I can pretty much understand them.
Im pretty much from the US, actually im about an hour away from Chicago, so thats a relation to H5, ive already been to Chicago a few times myself.

HMF is awesome like a Power Rangers introduction, but sometimes it needs some Sesame Street like manners.

Well, I live in Lithuania, but it would be quite interesting for a certain mission there.. You see - we've had a scandal about a CIA built prison over here...

Yes, Holland was in C47 and in Contracts. I think it it's nice to see a game with my country in it, because you don't see much games with levels in Holland.

Australia mate.. and no-one gives a shit as usual, we never appear in anything, only in an article in BM about an Albino Assassin killing some scientist in Melbourne. I mean Mekbourne? Come on, it has to be Sydney.

Hopefully a future Hitman level will be set in Sydney, they could use that nice Glacier 2 engine to create a nice environment.

I'm Danish, and there are no missions taking place in Denmark, unfortunatly. The final cutscene in bloodmoney does feature the New Danish Opera House in the background when Diana speaks to 47, indicating that she must be in Copenhagen ;)
Anyway - there are a huge amount of references to Denmark and Danish people and even soccer teams. Can't wait to see what IO adds in Absolution.

Yeah I came in here to post a very similar thing. I mean I understand alot of games not being set here, but it would be nice if we had a level in Hitman or Tomb Raider or something, I'm sure there's something that's important enough to send 47 or Lara down under :)

Denmark is in the epilogue of Blood Money. I don't really feel anything about that. I suppose it's a nice cityscape.
