At this point, I want to hold everyone involved with the making of this game at gunpoint and make them take my money.

There's no way that 35 Gigs is needed for space...that's insane.

All the other specs don't appear to be too demanding. Max Payne has always looked fairly good even with little power on the machine running it. Wish more game developers could pull that off.

There is something fishy about that 35 gigs... My old rig can run it and I do have 35 GB of free space, but seriously, what is in those 35 gigs? Two copies of BF3? Windows 7? No game takes that much space. Those screens looked really good (I especially liked the third one from the top), but do you really, really need to so much space for so good graphics? Or is it because of Euphoria or whatever is used for the animations? Or maybe it's a typo and they meant 25 GB. Or 3.5 (oh, actually no, it can't take up that little). Or maybe it's just because Rockstar is making a lazy console port and they haven't packed anything at any point or something similiarly insane.

When you kill for money, there are no rules.

The Small fixes thread. IOI employees and Hitman developers, please take a look at the thread. At the moment there are about 80 small or smallish things that the fans would like to see improved. Many would improve gameplay and shouldn't be too difficult to fix before Absolution is released.

If Max Payne is 35GB, I'm guessing GTA V will be over 60 gigs :o

Christopher Z., Apr 23 12:53 pm (EDT):

Hi there,

Thanks for your system information. Unfortunately, we are not qualified to give definite FPS promises here at technical support. We can, however, inform you that you more than meet the recommended system requirements. You will have no issues running the game on your machine.

On a side note, Max Payne 3 constantly streams information from the hard drive. An SSD will only further contribute to your already great system specs.

Cheers,

Christopher Z.

LOL, yeah, just stick it on an SSD amirite guys

Maximum PC confirms the 35 gig requirement. Though for that much disk space, I should be able to play it on a toaster, because there can't be much left for my videocard to render that hasn't already been done. Seriously, this isn't an open world exploring game, it's a corridor shooter (for the most part). I'm guessing that multi-player has to have some kind of hand in making it take that much.

My guess is that the no loading screens/streaming thing takes up all dat space. Then again, that would mean the 360 version would require an install too, no?

LA Noire was 3 dvd, but didn't require install. Sure it was much better to just do it, but it wasn't mandatory.

Fucking sweet!

It's weird that Redbox will only rent out half the game. Typically Redbox doesn't even rent out the 360 version if it's a multi disc. They always have the PS3 version though.

I'm guessing it'll need a necessary install? Because it has literally no loading (that's why I think it's 35 GB for PC as well)
So pumped about it, just 3 more weeks! :D
