Hey Folks.

I just came across this Forum due Google. I am looking for an Solution for my Problem and hopefully i will find it here.

The Problem:

I was trying to install/play Hitman Contracts on my PC since i wanted to give it a Try again.
Well the Installation was working perfectly, so i wanted to start Hitman Contracts.exe but then the Game Crashes and a Message appears:

"HitmanContracts.exe isnt working anymore"(Translated from German)

So, my First Tries were to Uninstall the Game and Reinstall it using Windows XP SP2 and SP3 Compatibility Mode on "Setup.exe"
That didnt worked. The same Problem was still there.

Afterwards, i tried to use an NO-CD Crack.What happend? Same Problem, Black Screen of Death

After doing even more Researches, i tried to patch the Game. What happend? Message appeared "Please use the Original CD instead of a Backup CD"

I am really running out of Ideas.I hope someone here can finally help me.

I have the same problem with Windows 7 32bit. When I try to start the game, Hitman Contracs shows a black screen a couple of seconds and then crashes to desktop.

Man, I haven't played this game for years. But it worked fine on my old machine running XP. Oh well..

Finally I figured it out! :cool:

First install Hitman Contracts then the official v1.74 patch, click on the link below:

then download and install Hitman: Contracts v1.74 [ENGLISH] Fixed EXE 2
