With the announcement of the new Hitman game, I decided to finally play Hitman: Contracts.

I got the game off of Ebay and made it about 50% through before my computer went on the fritz. I lost my save files.

SInce I am interested in the game's relatively loose storyline and the included FMVs, I can't really use the all level cheat to get through.... so I thought I'd take a stab in the dark here.

Does anyone have a savegame file that they could send me from the "Deadly Cargo" mission?

I don't have a save file to give, but another way to get there. Enable the cheat console (search the web if you don't know how), then start a new game, open console, and press complete level. This will get you to the next level immediately. Then repeat in the next level. I'm not 100% sure about it, but I guess you get Silent Assassin rank if you do so. If it doesn't bother you, then fine. If it does bother you, you can start the level, shoot a lot of people, and then press complete level. This way you will not have the best ranking available by cheating, so you can try to get a better/best rating yourself.

If you still want to get a save file, check Gamershell. From there you can get saves for at least BM.

When you kill for money, there are no rules.

The Small fixes thread. IOI employees and Hitman developers, please take a look at the thread. At the moment there are about 80 small or smallish things that the fans would like to see improved. Many would improve gameplay and shouldn't be too difficult to fix before Absolution is released.

I will give the cheat a shot. I scored Professional on every other level, so I don't mind a bit of an extra boost. I care more about finishing the story.

A lot of the story is in the mission itself so it would be better to use a walk through invisibility cheat.

Since I'm feeling unusually helpful today, I'll just copy&paste stuff from the forum's cheat section:

Console Cheats for PC

To make the console cheats to work, head over to HitmanContracts. ini in your game's folder. Open it, and add ... :
QUOTE
EnableConsole 1
EnableCheats 1

... on the last 2 lines. Now save.

While playing ingame, hit the tilde (~) key, or if that doesn't work, the ²-key, and the console will pop up. You can now enter the following cheats:

QUOTE
God mode: "God 1"
Invisiblility mode "Invisible 1"
All weapons / Items "Giveall"
Infinite ammo "Infammo 1"
Specific weapon "Give <weapon>" - replace '<weapon>' with the name of the weapon.

That was straight from here http://www.hitmanfor...showtopic=46576
BUT, if you, after messing with the .ini file, go to a level and press shift+esc (press them simultaneously, it's best to hold shift first and then press esc) a cheat console will appear. Not the one where you type stuff, but a quite big box with names of the cheats, e.g. Inivsibility, Complete level and God mode. You can scroll through the list with arrow/wasd and enter if I remember correctly. Press left and right to change the value. Just be careful with the time multiplier, as if you put it below 0.1, the game will freeze and if you put it too high (depending on your hadware) the game might crash. I got it as high as to 100, which was quite amusing.

Hitman BM did not have a file save feature which was very annoying - one had to replay the entire mission. Contracts has file save which is great I hope they have it in the new game.
