David Bateson, IOI, fan creations and YOU

I have little need to rehash old games -- because I've already gone through each of them about a bajillion times. So, if Bateson really won't be back, then I won't even go to freakin' YouTube to look at the latest trailers and videos of the game.
I don't care much for "reboots." I didn't go to the new Star Trek movie, won't bother with the next Spiderman, and didn't like The Dark Knight. If someone isn't dead, don't fire him.
Thanks.

See, now this is an example of how not to post.Never question IO!
Oh and buy the games!!
1. It doesn't bring anything to the table, other than you're upset. By the time a child is three we expect them to communicate more clearly and provide more information than this.
2. It signals you are not interested in discussion or taking on new information yourself, only in having a tantrum to try to get your way.
3. It condition people to pretty much disregard all your posts as they're clearly written only for yourself.
If you want to post like this, there are many free blogging services you can use.

Too many people in here seem to have this opinion. They could just reskin Batman AA (I'm seriously scared they've done this) and they'd happily buy it.

That seems unlikely as:Too many people in here seem to have this opinion. They could just reskin Batman AA (I'm seriously scared they've done this) and they'd happily buy it.
1. Does not have a cape to glide with
2. No information on 47 having acrobatic fighitng techniques
3. Hitman games have always had multiple locales, Arkham Asylumn had one
4. The HUD interface in the trailer was significantly differently to that in Arkham Asylumn
5. Hitman: Absolution has made a point of extensive use of shooting, Batman just punches people
6. Arkham Asylumn was heavily marketed on the colourful characters in it, Absolution only has two recognizable characters to date: 47 and Diana
This is why statements like this are likely to be disregarded.

Probably not the best of threads to get into this but I can actually see where he was goin' with that, but definitely not all the way in thinking they'd just re-sking batman. But the first thing I thought about when I saw 47 going in and taking down all the guards in diana's house in the trailer with unarmed martial arts perfection was Batman AA. The instict mode sounds similar too, but it's kind of a vague power/ability/game mechanic so meh.

You could also say the demonstration of a series of stealth kills made it like TenchuProbably not the best of threads to get into this but I can actually see where he was goin' with that, but definitely not all the way in thinking they'd just re-sking batman. 47 hitting people and the ability to see through walls through an ability does not make it a clone of Arkham Asylumn. It's pretty obvious under any amount of observation.
Compare these two statements:
"Absolution looks like a total Arkham Asylumn clone! I will not buy it."
"I don't think I'm interested in another game where I hunt henchmen by following thier movements through walls. I'm also concerned that the new game will be too action orientated."
One grossly exagerates things to the extent it makes you wonder if you came to the conclusion yourself or you just saw someone else mention AA and decided to hump on the band wagon. The other expresses your concerns.
Which do you think is better communication?

The fact is we all have opinions on how this game may or may not go. Good and bad. Even though its too early. However the fact mods on this forum were given early access to things and that we see posts on here from employees show that they do give a shit about the long term fans. This is a new game and they want to reach a new audience GOOD! I cant belive how many 'hardcore gamers' I met who have not played any of them. Lets not start lynching people over a 10 second clip a year or two before the game comes out

Zarko Georgiev Rashev
The voice and the soundtrack will not be accepted if different, but Bateson and Jesper. It is you who should be afraid, not us.

The Official Hitman Absolution Game
The Hitman games doesn't dipend of the people ho buy the game, but from the markets ho buy it from the IO. Yes. Lets say 1.000.000 people buy it. This just means 1.000.000 markets just buyit first and they are reseal it. So if you buy the game or not. The Hitman sale goes good any way

Zarko Georgiev Rashev And by this statement you confirm that you don't care about the fans, but the sales.

i refuse to believe that. the massive spelling mistakes alone, the non-sense and badly structured sentences are not from io. no one with that bad a vocabulary would be in a position to speak on behalf of us.
there is a lot of non-sense being said on this board, but this has to be some of the worst

It is not 100% certain that it is the official page of Hitman on facebook, but I can assume that it is, because in prevouse posts the guy is answering a lot of technical and gameplay questions. Anyway, the situation with Absolution is the same, no matter who said what.
For sure it is something to be discussed since nobody cares about what Hitman fans want. And we don't care if they make a whole mountain of money from some Farcry or Doom 3 fans (no offence) because of the action and the graphics.
We all made that community of Hitman fans - me, you, IOI, David Bateson, Jesper Kyd. We are all part of the game and we all made the Hitman series that famous. Do not forget that.

There's no way IO would allow someone with such a poor grasp of the English language to operate their official Facebook page.
OOOOKAY! For some of you to be happy, let's assume the page is a fake. Now get straight to the point.

Is your point that a statement made by someone not connected to IOI is an admission of guilt from the developers?

The absence of Jesper and David is admission for their guilt. Fans are ignored. That is the point.

I am out of this forum.
Good thing.
Anyways, Having an IOI guy responding to a post so fast on a unofficial forum shows that they actually do care a little about fans. (say that in one row and you'll be out of breath lol)

I suggest Paris Hilton voicing 47
At this point, she would probably do a much better job at it than the new guy.
