If we turn off the instinct mode, will we have a map (via older hitman games) to rely on to know where to go? Or is that your definition of challenging the hardcore fans by forcing us to memorize the map to get silent assassin?

Maybe we will be able to look at the map and memorize it before the mission just like a real Hitman would. I always thought it was kind of odd that you could whip out an electronic map on the instant like some kind of tourist in previous titles. I wouldn't mind the map being gone if instinct is dissabled as long as you can check it out and remember key area's before you start the level to kind of formulate your path of action.

One think I would like to know is if the in game physics will be handled by a custom made IO solution or if they have bought the rights to use something like Havoc.

Don't forget to +1 the rep for Symb for bothering to simplify this guys. If the questions are easier to get to, there's a better chance for things to be answered.

Good thread Symbiote. pretty much most of the pertinent questions have already been covered.

Trivial, but... Will we see any of the recurring characters in Absolution? ie: Agent Smith, Mei Ling.

In the trailer we saw a more "beat 'em up" version of Hitman. Will you give more emphasis in the Stealth-way compared with the previous hitman games?

Main topic updated with new questions.

I'm not sure what you're asking here. Do you want to know if they'll release trailers that emphasis the stealth or are you asking if the game will still offer a stealth experience. If it's the latter there are plenty of things you can read about the game to get a better understand of what they're doing with Absolution gameplay-wise.

In Blood Money - when a body is found that lowers the chances of achieving Silent Assassin? Finding bodies but not knowing who the killer should not mean that Hitman has been automatically implicated. Anyone can be the killer. Killing someone without witnesses should be good enough. Detectives look for evidence after bodies are found. If Hitman leaves something incriminating that would mean that Hitman did not do a good job in hiding evidence. Then there is question who benefits from the death of any one in particular. Hitman simply does the job, the person who pays is the one who has some personal interest in having someone else killed- so that person is the most likely to be questioned by the police provided any evidence is found to indicate that..

Read the main post. Also, remember that he's not going to answer every question put to him.

We're just going to have to play the waiting game, but at least all questions are in one place for him.

Well, atleast he would answer more of the important questions here. I don't know what his thinking now. But I'm pretty sure he read all our questions here. We just want some little info about the game and hopefully answer our questions.

Will these safe spots be as obvious and "gamey" as Assassin't Creed's small crowds where you could blend? I mean will the safe spot be lit up before/when he reaches it? That breaks any sort of immersion really quickly. Can you use either Insinct or your own brains to find these safe spots? Is there variety to these safe spots? I don't want to see donut boxes in every table in the game, like in Blood Money there were those body-sized boxes conviniently placed everywhere.

Can we recharge the Insinct energy doing REAL Hitman stuff; not by silently killing innocents, but by sneaking around, knocking someone unconscious and taking their clothes?

When you kill for money, there are no rules.

The Small fixes thread. IOI employees and Hitman developers, please take a look at the thread. At the moment there are about 80 small or smallish things that the fans would like to see improved. Many would improve gameplay and shouldn't be too difficult to fix before Absolution is released.

Always knew i didnt belong in this world. I wasnt

made for this. But Ill never forget - those who betrayed me, and

those who never failed my trust. Ill be carrying nothing from
Gontranno but this lesson: never trust anyone and rely on your

instincts. Forget the past. Ill never find peace here. So, Ill
seek justice for myself. Ill choose the truth I like.

Hey guys, this is my first post. Any news on the ingame guns? IMFDB has already recognized the AMT Hardballers, HK USP, Beretta 92FS, SIG P22x, HK UMP, FN FAL and Hawk Semi-Auto Shotgun. I am looking for the info on the sniper rifles in the game. Also some info on the sniping mechanics, will wind, elevation, breathing etc have an effect on the trajectory of the bullet or will it be hitscan like previous titles? Yes I know there weren't any sniping kills except Motorcade Interception (H:2 SA) where these factors would really matter. Will there be a really long distance sniper kill? (Around 1000 m).

From what we've heard, yes, that's true. We don't know the reason behind the change.

I've always wanted to check how the gamescom looks since I don't live too far from Cologne.

Will IOI have a stand there though?

Will there be a feature with which the player first targets people and then by pressing a button 47 just kills them in a quick animation without the player having to aim and shoot by himself?
