The official game site lists: PC DVD Rom, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360.
But many sites only list PC Download, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360.
While some just list PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
So is Hitman: Absolution coming out on PC DVD Rom?

Yes, it's up for pre-order on Steam and other digital retailers like Amazon, etc.
If @Nick_IO happens to read this thread, Will the team fix the drawing out, concealing weapons/item animation? From the beta build at E3, the knife just appears in 47's hand magically; not very nice.

I agree, this needs to be fixed - no, it Must be fixed! Without having these animations (that were even in past hitman games) it kills the immersion of the game for me. But my guess that they are working on it and it's going to be fixed soon enough since they already fixed picking object animation. But one thing always makes me wonder why IOI, with it's completely new and powerful Glacer 2.0 tech engine can't add in the game the Door opening addition/animation? Wouldn't it be more realistic? Yes it Would. I mean c'mon IOI, your doing great with Absolution, but things like opening doors would make this game beyond perfect to me ;-)Yes, it's up for pre-order on Steam and other digital retailers like Amazon, etc.

The door opening animation IS there, around the 9:38 mark.

"I wondered how far could this go, before I could stop him. There was no way a imposter could remain that long in the gray darkness..."
*hears sudden movement, some weird sounds*
"Huh? Who was it?"
* hears some instruments in the distance, fading to the distant urban jungle*

I think that specific animation was discussed before. We can't count that because it's 47 leaving the level. So its the equivalent of a cut scene. All other doors during the mission magically open like previous games.

Next, I want to see the object picking animation.
Watch the Streets if Hope clips from that one E3 video. It shows 47 reaching for an item on a table.
Also, Travis on the Barcode Society has announced another batch of questions will be answered this week. Possibly a bit late but if there's anything you want to ask it might be worth giving it a shot.

Yep, but I was getting across the point that now door opening animations are in real-time, at least. I'm not really sure if adding door opening/closing animations will further immerse or hinder gameplay. The previous games never had door animations (correct me if I'm wrong) so I don't think they will be in Absolution either.
Speaking about doors, adding a bash option will be really handy.

because i read glacier 2 engine will support 1200 crowds at 1 screen, will that mean the requirement must have up to 4 core processor to run perfectly (without bottlenecking the graphic card)?
with only 2 cores will it be max out the game?
