I hope David Bateson sees this thread and has a good laugh over it. A nice, hearty, deep-voiced laugh.

Haha. Deep-voiced evil laugh.. i like that.

Bring back Bateson, btw.

I made an unlisted YT video just for this thread/forum with just 47's audio "I never left"

If you wanna analyze it a little easier.

Big Thanks to Shaffy for the original audio

All of you fucktards whining about America and Hollywood ARE aware of the fact that this series has been heavily influenced by action movies since it's inception, and that every game since the first one has had several homages to such, right?

I hate posting again so soon, but the Mark Sloan guy who did the motion cap stuff is a 41 year old Brit. He might've actually not sucked in doing the voice. The guy in the demo audio has to be American based on the accent and younger.

Check out Menacing Mark audio file. He would've been almost acceptable as a replacement.

Something doesn't smell right about all this. Since the voice in the demo sounds like Mark Sloan and there were reports from 2009 that he was doing the motion capture for the game, it's probably him. However, we also know that David Bateson was asked to audition for 47 (and told that he had the job) in the same year. Why would they go to the trouble of holding an audition for a role when they've already decided on who it's going to? Here's what I think happened: they had Mark Sloan do all the motion capture and voice work at the same time because their new motion capture techniques integrate the two, Uncharted-style; however, they never necessarily intended to use his voice in the final game. If they did, they wouldn't have brought in David Bateson (and possibly other people) to audition, because why spend the time and money if the role is taken? It could very well be that the voice they're using in the game currently is just a placeholder that they have handy from the motion capture sessions. This doesn't mean that they're going to use David Bateson after all, necessarily, but I think it does mean that it's not going to be Mark Sloan.

Intelligent. Of course mo-capper has to move his mouth, and the best way to do it is by reading the script. We are still having some hope..!

When you kill for money, there are no rules.

The Small fixes thread. IOI employees and Hitman developers, please take a look at the thread. At the moment there are about 80 small or smallish things that the fans would like to see improved. Many would improve gameplay and shouldn't be too difficult to fix before Absolution is released.

We, fucktards? The game might only takes place in America, and Hollywood actors are replacing our beloved and talentfull actors. A new voice which sound like numerous of other Hollywood cliche movies - that's American

Maybe 47 puts on an accent appropriate for the disguise he is wearing. If he is impersonating an American cop, why would he use a British accent? Of course, it might just be that they've Americanized his accent, but it's something to consider.

For me the game will be French localised so I won't fell the difference.

LOL Get me a copy of the French game. Or in literally any other language with any other actor.

I hope David Bateson sees this thread and has a good laugh over it. A nice, hearty, deep-voiced laugh.

The French 47 voice is not a charismatic as Bateson's but I like it. Now some of the other voices are really crappy...

If you want attention and recognition, go out there and do it. Talking and debating about this and that about some other information doesnt show strength or care for situations.
In return, youll know theyll just make and go out for money right? Its that simple. You need others to make that money that they want, thats what theyre doing.

Sitting or complaining isnt really going to get them much of recognition, the majoirty of what theyll do is just respond on here saying that theyre sorry or remind you of what you can and cant do.

I mean to be honest, dont bullshit! dont say 'Oh, hey guys, we should give a little respect.' Dont put what you wanted to hear in YOUR life and give it to them, its not like theyre going to accept it and give it back you know. Especially if there is somethin gyou wanted, but being polite about it doesnt mean theyll give it.
Theyre only making a game, sure, you can pinpoint some things you want to hear or dont want to hear from it, but if you want to get your voice heard, you need to get your ass in there. You dont wait, because theyll just walk over you and then theyll do what they would already do.

If your dissapointed on this voice, sitting here and complaining isnt going to make differences, more or lesss its making debates with other members.

Your real motives or intentions are really only spoken on how far you would go to get what you want.
I wouldnt know, and I cant speak for somebody else, but down to earth people would do something about it, and the ones who are more insecure are the ones who fall back or be the follower just like anyone would do.

Not a word of a lie, even if Bateson had never voiced Hitman, and they were creating the character fresh, there is still no way I'd choose that over Bateson.

and the fans with him. you know, I always thought 47 survived at the end of blood money but now it looks like IO killed off 47 anyways. guys, us "hardcore" fans are shoved into the dark corner for the casual hollywood crowd and fed bullshit that they still care about us. you know, they can have thier casual fanbase and name the game anything they want but this is not a hitman game!

@nick, I know that you tried your best to keep us interested but this voice and the music is not hitman. I thank you for hanging around us to give us what info you can.

I don't know about you guys but action speak louder than words. if you guys want to bring back the hitman we all know and love you need to act but do it peacefully. how you guys do that I'll leave up to you but you will need more than petitions that is for sure.

If they want a dark voice, why don't they just use Bateson and make him do a dark and ANGRY voice. That would rock so much! This is ridiculous
