The Small fixes thread. IOI employees and Hitman developers, please take a look at the thread. At the moment there are about 80 small or smallish things that the fans would like to see improved. Many would improve gameplay and shouldn't be too difficult to fix before Absolution is released.

CISPA?
Yup; we know; or at least I know.
You're going to keep seeing these constantly until they get one passed and get a foot-hold. It takes very little effort on their part to propose and get these things pushed through, and a lot more effort on the part of the voters to stop it. Basically, the MPAA and the RIAA see passing this as a way to make millions, so they are going to keep pushing for this until they get it.
Only way to stop the corporations from raping your freedom is to make all political donations anonymous, eliminate private political donations, put a cap (say $2,500) on maximum political donations a year for a company or private person, or eliminate all freedoms a corporation has that a citizen has (corporations are not people).
You won't get any of those though, because it would take the people who are part of the problem to be willing to shoot themselves in the foot. I'd hate to say violence is the answer, but when they've rigged the system so your peaceful option (voting) doesn't work (you can pick from two people they've pre-approved of; so you're not exactly voting for someone who wants to fix the problems) the people only have the option of violence left. It's horrible, but it seems Egypt, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya are the only countries seeing freedom being given to the people.
At least this isn't England, and they're not just straight up banning certain web-sites.

Be interesting to see if Obama follows through on his plead to veto CISPA.

Could be worse. Could be Australia where the government bans small tits in porn.
Fix’d.

If you're gonna fix it, fix it right.Could be worse. Could be Australia where the government classifies small tits as child porn and squirting from masturbation as "golden showers".

I don't know if I should feel proud or ashamed for knowing this about Australia.

I have more if that'll help.I don't know if I should feel proud or ashamed for knowing this about Australia.
- We've also banned movies that don't exist.
- Censorship of zombie media depends if they're magic zombies (okay to brutally destroy in a graphic manner) or disease zombies (not okay to brutally destroy in a graphic manner)
- One of our states requires Internet bloggers who commentate on elections to provide all their personal details
- In the mid 90s, they banned Custer's Revenge from sale in Australia, a game which was released in 1982 for the Atari 2600 and sold about 80,000 copies worldwide - and in case you're wondering, no, nobody has ever provided evidence that it was for sale in Australia at any point
- We pay a council of people who get paid six figures a year to review porn and classify it, however any and all their classifications can be overruled by a single Attorney General
- In case you haven't guessed, there is no requirement for the council or the AG to even review or find a copy of the material before making a ruling on it

I want to be on the board to review porn. I'll make sure to view all materials in full to ensure that a proper verdict is rendered. I'll even put in over-time and work at home when needed. Such is my dedication to the safety and well being to others.

The censorship system rates violence against monsters as less bad than violence against humans. They decided the zombies in Left4Dead 2 were "humans" because of the rabies-like zombie virus - but say the nurses and patients in Silent Hill 2 are "monsters" because they only exist due to magic, etc. Doom and Quake were okay to include super gibs because they were "monsters" but L4D2 was not because those rabid creatures were "people".Are you fucking telling me that most zombie films and video games are banned in Australia?
I've considered applying for it every time I've needed a job. You get over a hundred grand a year to watch 94% porn a 6% mainstream media - then debate how offended you are. If the creator disagrees then they need to pay nine grand to ask your opinion a second time (and no, they can't take you to court if you fuck up).I want to be on the board to review porn. I'll make sure to view all materials in full to ensure that a proper verdict is rendered. I'll even put in over-time and work at home when needed. And oh, if it's something you're not into, you can just decline to look at it and make a decision based off it's reputation.

[Censorship in Australia] - The [ACB] is, hands down, anus-like-doughnut-hole insane.
Would it be far-fetched to assume that the R18+/X18+ ratings were introduced more easily for film and similar media due to pressures (financial or otherwise) from their respective industries? Has no evidence of, for example, bribery in return for lenient film ratings ever been found?

- can't let go.

Films and television have had an easier time getting through because even today there is this weird misconception with our censorship board that video games are a children's medium ("Oh won't someone please think of the children!") where as say blue movies have always been viewed as "adult" entertainment.Would it be far-fetched to assume that the R18+/X18+ ratings were introduced more easily for film and similar media due to pressures (financial or otherwise) from their respective industries? Has no evidence of, for example, bribery in return for lenient film ratings ever been found?
That said, our laws regarding adult entertainment are also pants on head retarded in a 1940s kind of way. Ms Nude NSW cannot be nude, because she is not allowed to display her vagina. X rated material can only be sold in sex shops (not regular video shops) and XX is not available in my state (because we're retards) but license brothels are.
Basically this is what happens when insane Christian fundies are a minority, but are a minority with a lot of strings they can pull in government.
