The spirit of Coflash lives ever onward!

Should go in Creative Corner, though. ;)

Man I wish Coflash was still here, his ideas never cease to amaze me...

We need a thread dedicated solely for shit like this, making fun of Hitman Absolution and IOI, nothing personal but just for kicks and giggles :D .

Why isn't Bateson in Absolution? Oh wait, questions should be abot Instinct?
So, is this Instinct the reason Bateson's not in Absolution, if not that what is it?

New voice sounds nice at least for Russian ear.

Why limit instinct by having its usage tied to a meter? Is a portion of it so overpowered that it would break the game? Games generally rely on such a measure because a feature is too overpowered otherwise. Spells are generally tied to mana because constant use of the more powerful ones would break the game. Human Revolution tied the takedowns to battery power because the devs found they broke the game.

As a continuation of that line of thought, how do you prevent Instinct from becoming the sole focus of the game? Many games that have introduced a new feature tend to go overboard with it. The devs think up a new toy and they feel that it has to be used throughout the entire game. Sometimes to the detriment of other playstyles.

How integral to the entire experience is Instinct? Are there many sections that will require the use of this meter? From what we have heard so far it can not be entirely disabled, so there has to be a mandatory component to it all. Although you guys tend to bring up the map (as seen on the lowest difficulty) a lot, you could play without ever visiting the map screen.

1.Instinct is a powerful feature...will the game have counters to it in the form of NPCs which are immune to it? Some AI characters can see through your disguise or some NPCs cannot have a path-prediction trail.

2.Will instinct be used to identify environmental objects which can be interacted with?

3.How deep is Instinct...Can you focus it on an individual to learn of patterns, vulnerabilities (broken femur, coughing, weak heart. etc.) Is it an upgradeable feature?

If someone creates something, he ought to know what to say about it from A to Z.
