I just read the new stuff and have also seen the trailer. I think the trailer is fine at first but when you take time to analyze it it's great. Take a look at the atmosphere being created here and also look at the amount of focus that's being thrown around the time period. Something we haven't seen since AC2. Also these new things that he can FINALLY DO like climbing trees and rocks and having a new engine is just great to hear because Assassins' creed was getting better in some places but in others (like story, atmosphere and build up) it was beginning to lack.

It seems that Ubi are focusing on the time period much more this time and it's awesome if it's truly the case because a major part of AC was history and the way it tells it.

I hope it's not just a one mission thing, or cutscene. I really loved the rafting mission in RDR and would've loved to do it any time I wanted, anywhere.

Well, as a mean of travel across locations, like the stagecoach or any other. There would be ones tied to small piers or left on shallow shores and you could enter/exit on these locations.
But shallow, waist-high water would allow for a lot of freedom.

I'm not sure if AC is this freeroaming kind of game, besides the hopping around the city thing. I remember riding a horse across towns in the first.

Yeah, i think they confirmed that The Frontier will play a major part and be 3(?) times bigger than Rome from AC:B. So as a method of regular travel it would be awesome.

It's actually going to be 1.5x the size of Rome.

I agree with Burt, this series was getting really stale but what we've seen so far looks incredible.

I'm getting really interested in ACIII i was little disappointed with the ACBH and ACR, but this one sounds like they worked from the ground up. the Changes with AC3, so far, is like the differences between AC1 to AC2.

I guess that's pretty much more representative of what the final game will look like.

It seems different and I actually like what I am seeing. I guess they will just expand the areas of AC because usually it's almost always in a crowded city where the action takes place, but now, we have countryside, a big country side aswell. Now that and the fact that we can climb trees now is actually a very good expansion route to take in my eyes.

I like where it's going to say the least because it seems that it will be as big as AC2 was over AC1 sort of.
