[hitman_agent_47]

So I got my new Game Informer in the mail today, Which had a Decent sized section dedicated to Hitman Absolution and right beside the article where it tells you when the game releases it says summer, So I just wanted to post something about it. I didn't see anything on the recent topic board so I hope this isn't a repost. Let me know what you think.

IOI have not released any official release date, so until they do we don't really have one.

I know there is no Official date set at the moment, but at this point I am assuming Game Informer has a little more info then we do, hopefully Game Informer has it right and we can get our hands on it at some point this summer. And for the 2nd Reply, There were no new Screen shots in the article that I noticed.

maybe they are talking about Hitman novel !?!? because novel comes out summer.

I don't have the scan but have seen the article. It says release date and says summer. But I think you're right about the book. I'd expect it a little after the book.

One thing is sure. Nothing happens before E3 this year, and by then we will most probably have the release date. June 5-7 is when things speed up.

I'll take IO's word/press statement regarding a potential release date over some magazine's article any day of the week.

I rely on gameinformer as I allways did, and I think it's very possible that Absolution will be realised in Summer.

Ah yes, "let's wait for IO reply". Haven't we learned anything these past years? IO seldomly talks and when they do it's in riddles.

do we have any otehr choice ? if they told GI summer release so they can tell us about it,at least confirm it.

A lot of other publications (usually online ones) have listed "Summer" as the release date for the game. The Guardian does a little blog on gaming, and they did the same thing. However, they have the luxury of being a digital medium and they quickly edited it to merely say 2012. I wouldn't hope for a summer release based on this.

Yes lets Wait for IOI to Confirm or Deny, I have no doubt the official date will be announced this year at E3 which is in June, Lets not forget Summer is a Pretty broad time frame June - Sept. Assuming the Summer time frame is accurate we may see Absolution as early as the end of June and as late as the end of Sept. I didn't mean to imply that the game informer date was the official announcement, I just wanted to show you guys something that I found that I thought was interesting that's all. On another note I really hope Absolution is released in the Summer, there are so many good looking games coming out at the end of the year.

If they follow the previous traditions, they will release the game at sommer time. Let's hope. My guess is some time in August.

August to September seems like a good shout. I'm sure IO will give us the release date at E3 hopefully along with some new footage.
