Square Enix and IO Interactive are excited to announce the 'Professional Edition' of Hitman: Absolution. This cool, black clamshell box contains an art book, a 'making of' video, three elite agency weapons for the Original Assassin to use on his missions as well as a whole lot of badass awesomeness.

What do you think? Will you be getting this beauty for your game collection?

Will be buying, despite the cliché nature of DLC weapons.

"This room. This Bullet. There's a bullet for everyone. And a time and a place. An end. Yes, maybe this is how it has to be. Inspector, you've obviously learned too much about me. I can't have that. Even in my death- Agent 47

Kid - Why do they flame Quinn?

Me - Because he's the poster that HMF deserves, but not the one it needs right now... and so we'll flame him... because he can take it... because he's not a poster... he's a silent guardian, a watchful protector... a HMF Poster

Notice it says ADVANCED access to agency weapons. That's means either 47 will be hunted by agency agents and you can collect their weapons. Or he'll be working for the agency again.

Looks excellent. No word on release date still, even though we are learning all the specifics of the pre-order Professional pack. I have a feeling the release date announcement is coming soon.

The price will be the deciding factor for me, but if that's good then I am definitely pre-ordering :)

The art book looks like a great deal. But, I was just thinking about the weapons: how will we actually use them? And, does that mean that 47 will get to carry weapons to his missions? I hope so.

I'd probably buy it, well in case this goes all the way to Russia where I can get it
PS Announcing a special edition without giving the release date is terrible BTW

Worth it for the artbook and making of DVD alone. Throw in a soundtrack CD and it'll be the best collectors edition ever.

I may have more incentive to preorder it if they told us the release date, though...

The artbook is a cool thing to get, but I guess some nice guy from this forum will scan and upload them :)

Ps. An announcment of the special edition without an release date, is that a rare thing or what? I don't know how the procedure have been with other games? But cool if that could be a sign of a release date some time in the near future.

One of the better special editions I have seen that's for sure.

With all this being released, I feel like we are getting closer to finding out the release date of this much awaited sequel.

It looks cool to me. I figured they would make a statue or an action figure with toy guns or something and I wasn't interested in anything dorky like that. This special edition is what I want. Artbook, making of DVD, not sure about the DLC but it can't hurt. Only thing left that I would be interested in is the official soundtrack. I will be buying as soon as it's available.

Ehh, it's ok I guess. I would have liked one of those tie clips, or some other physical trinket. And I doubt we'll get the release date before the second ARG.

EB Games lists it for 79,99 $ together with an exclusive Sniper Rifle.

http://www.ebgames.c...th-bonus/313077

So maybe it's 69,99 € in Europe/Germany.
