Now that we have seen The King of Chinatown level, a homage to previous asian missions in Hitman such as the Contracts levels and SA Japanese levels, what do you guys think we can expect in terms of new levels in Absolution? Will they emulate previous levels in the Hitman franchise?

What I'm hoping for is a level involved with high society, such as Invitation To A Party in the German Embassy in Moscow. I always love these levels, with the awesome party settings and also the lavish buildings they are set in. I know 47 is on the run but hopefully there will be a mission of this sort. Also a hospital mission would be awesome.

And, considering the large mission in Hope and the focus placed around this town, will many of the missions be in this town? I hope not, I want the variety of locations previous titles offered, and also in sneak peek at a near final cutscene in the interview with Powers Boothe video they say that 47 was located in Hope. That is presumably toward the end of the game, whilst the Hope mission is halfway through. It just had me worried that there would be too many levels in this one town (I consider 3 levels too many).

Anyway, why don't you guys speculate or share ideas on what levels you think or wish to be in Absolution.

Hotel mission, indeed. They are absolutely amazing. I am very confident that there will be some sort of hospital level, atleast one where the doctor's disguise is available. Hakan confirmed this in the KoCT commentary, where they were talking about the new disguise features. He said, that if you acquire the cop uniform, you can use your instinct to talk into your radio, and if you achieve the doctor's clothes, you will instead scribble something in a notebook... Which pretty much confirms a level with a doctor's disguise, most likely a hospital :D

Yeah, the hotel missions are the best. Also I think a level in which you have to escape a S.W.A.T. team would be awesome, like Hunter and Hunted. I love those kinds of mission. And a nightclub mission would be great

EDIT: I think there may be a Hotel mission in Chicago, the 'Terminus Hotel' that 47 escapes in the ARG, didnt he do a hit in there?

Hotels always seem to make wonderful settings for Hitman.

I agree with the high society party idea too, a hint of the more Bond-ish moments from SA.

A hospital could be interesting, since the other one had a very unique setting.

I always preferred the levels with a transition between areas of civillians, to smaller, more locked down areas (as opposed to military bases, and totally locked down locations of that sort). Hope and Chinatown both seem to conform to that formula.

Diana's mansion? Infiltrating a high class mansion, full of private security would be fun. Wonder if that'll be in game, or cutscene, though. Could be the tutorial, I suppose - but I think a hit with Diana on the end of the earpiece would make a better tutorial, since it'd add weight to killing her. Either way, the front end of this game sounds packed with stuff, it'll be interesting to see how it all plays out.

I'd really like a police station level (kill the corrupt chief and the prisoner who got caught to escape you!) but that's pure wishlisting.

I managed to get my hands on a Absolution art book, on one of the pages it shows lots of different disguises, suggesting level settings ill get a snap up later on, As for what we can expect in terms of different levels in Absolution, we know that a lot of the game is set in the States, so expect quite a few missions like the Hope one, killing hill billy gangsters and mob bosses. I can also see them using the crowd technology quite a bit aswell, so I guess we should expect a few levels set in busy environments, maybe something like the Murder of the Crows mission in BM set at the Mardi Gras festival.

We talked about a big mall last year, I'm not sure we can expect it but I like the idea. Airport would be cool also. There have been some places when playing the Hitman games were the developers really want's to impress you with the enviroment and for most of the times those maps I found very fun to play. Maybe it's because they are well done and thought over.

There were a picture that was released on Tores or whoevers twitter twatter or whatever that showed multiple AI's. Some had waitresses, some had FBI suits, and some had people with hoodies. And we have seen 47 with a tank top that could explain some sort of a working out place, I for one would really like a gym, a big gym, one of those crazy ass bigg ass gyms.

A recreated White House mission with the new tech and new design would be very cool, and totally agree with the Hotel mission idea, and a Hospital level would be great

Something completely different would be a nice addition. We already had the boat mission in BM, but something new like an airplane mission (where IO can show of there Glacier2 engine on the air). Something like that would be cool for a change.

More missions with weather effects(snow, rain)would make my day, rainy missions in stealth games... so beautiful .

As for a final shoot out mission,i hope not,it would be great if every mission can be completed silently.

A mission where you can take out you're target either in the airport or aboard a plane.

I agree completely. While it's great that familiar settings will return, new ideas are equally welcome. What about a football match, where 47 has to snipe a famous football player (let's say he's into some lugubrious business). First you will need to find your way up into the stadium for a good sniping spot. Then, with only a blurry childhood picture at hand (does that ring a bell?), you need to shoot the correct player.

I guess I'll keep on dreaming. Although it would be a good chance to show off their crowd tech :P

Well if they want to hint at the other Hitman games then a Hotel mission in a must :) .Seriously Hotel missions are always great.

An Airplane mission would be really cool

But judging by the looks of Absolution's story and ambiance, I think that we are going to get more urban levels than rural ones since IO focused heavily on the AI and the crowd system, so I guess that they will showcase that more than ever. So I expect to see more missions like Chinatown or Mardi Gras from BM. Then after these, we will probably get missions like Death of Showman (minus the linearity), where you infiltrate a big place full of working men as well as guards. Well "Hope" sure looks alot like that scenario.

Every Hitman game should include at least one hotel mission. Everyone loves a hotel mission, and within a hotel missions it's important that we as a player could feel like a guest, which gives us the freedom to have fun and fuck around like ToTT (C47 and Contracts). No restricted areas (looking at you Contracts), and a lot of space. Every Hitman fan wants this, but IOI should probably already know that by now.

Plane mission could be cool.

Passanger jet, in flight. 47 is trying to get out of the country. He has no weapons, except his undetectable fiber wire, but the plane has assassins on it, looking for him with garrotes and smuggled knives. 47 has to move through the plane, playing cat and mouse, taking the enemy out silently and stashing the bodies, because an alarm is game over. And because the enemy knows this too, you could be standing right next to them, maybe even talk to them, but unable to hurt one another for fear of causing an alarm amongst the passangers or crew.
