I recently bought a copy of Hitman: Codename 47, but I'm having trouble installing it. The autorun menu comes up fine, and the "Install DirectX" button works, but when I hit "Install" for the game itself, it starts the process but it doesn't actually open the process; it just sits there in the background until I end it from task manager. My computer is a Dell XPS 15 running 64-bit Windows 7. I've tried running setup.exe directly from the folder on the disc, from command prompt, and in compatibility mode as Windows 98, Windows 2000, XP SP2, and XP SP3, but I have the same result every time. I'm logged in as an admin, but I've even tried right clicking a hitting "Run as Administrator", but it still didn't help. I'm out of ideas. Has anyone had similar experiences/want to take a shot at helping me fix this?

Could it be something to do with your Anti-virus? I've been in a situation like this with another game (not Hitman) and simply going offline and temporarily disabling protection allowed the game to install for me.
