Just curious...do you plan on beating Absolution as fast as possible, or do you like to take your time through it? As much as I can't wait to get my hands on it I usually like to pace out playing new games so I can make them last longer B)

I'll go slow. Try to see the options i have for each kill, try to find some easter eggs and funny stuff too. Just enjoy the view and don't mind if i screw things up. Then i'll try make it without mistakes and get Silent Assassin. That of course if the scenarios are as good and memorable as the past games, which i think Hope will be.

You never beat Hitman. ;)

But, in terms of finishing the story, I'll do it in a few days, most like. Unless I get stuck, I could finish it in a couple of caffeine fueled sittings. I study from home, so that's no real problem so long as it doesn't release during an assignment's crunch time (if it does, I'll just drive myself into an early grave getting it done before the game comes out). In terms of figuring out every single nook and cranny, earning everything there is to earn and such - that'll happen when it happens. By that point I'll probably be knee deep in dicking around and creating custom missions for myself that I'll get round to finishing it all around the time of Hitman 20.

Take my time but not overdoing it, then it gets boring. It's like a new women in bed, just enjoy the moment, wich is 2 minutes in my case.

Takes me days to get through a single level sometimes under complete stealth. Hitman missions can be mentally exhausting.

I can be completely wiped out with even a single session sometimes and won't touch it again for HOURS or the next day.

Wouldn't be surprised at all if it took me weeks to get through the game on the first run - just like the previous titles.

The hallmark of a great game. B)

No rush. If the HD Collection is for real though I'm going to try to be one of the first people to get the platinum trophy in each game.

I have never gave a fuck for trophies, but some how I think I will get everyone in Absolution.

Always knew i didnt belong in this world. I wasnt

made for this. But Ill never forget - those who betrayed me, and

those who never failed my trust. Ill be carrying nothing from
Gontranno but this lesson: never trust anyone and rely on your

instincts. Forget the past. Ill never find peace here. So, Ill
seek justice for myself. Ill choose the truth I like.

Same with me, i don't even know how many i have and don't even care about extras stuff too, but i think i'll end up getting 100% just like i did with Uncharted 2 recently.

I always try finishing it on my first instinct. I try to be professional and stealthy, but when that goes array I have to improvise. I'm actually encouraged by the way absolution should allow you to contain a situation because in previous games it sometimes meant blood bath. :( If I totally f'd up I’d restart, so hopefully that won't have to happen this time.

I will go fast, very very fast. At first I will play the game to finish the story, won't care much about the silent assassin bonus. Once finish the game I will start over to see how to finish at silent assassin. Once I finish this and figure out everything, I'm going to play it on a more harder and harder level till I reach the purist mode. Then, after finishing the game at least 4-6 times. I will disconnect the internet connection on my PS, so I can have some fun by killing everyone (because if you kill civilians it affects your online score, I hear this on a E3 interview whit Marchessi)

I'm planning to take a couple of days off of work to coincide with the release of the game, so I can make it a full time commitment and immerse myself without having to worry about getting up the next day. It's not very often i anticipate a game as strongly as this, so I may as well make a big deal out of it - It's the only new game i'm buying this year!

I'm just going to take it at a steady pace and do what comes natually - No need to be excessively slow or overtly fast at all.

I'm doing the same thing at work. I actually have that whole week off  It helps that here in the states it's also thanksgiving so I don't have to use paid leave for all of it.

Well odds are ill do what i did with the past games on my first playthrough which is...

i won't be in a rush to get through it as ill probably take my time. but with that being said i figure ill end up finishing the game in roughly 4 days (i would imagine no less than 3 though) as odds are ill be playing it for hours each day which basically means i should be able to knock out a good chunk of missions each day. but if the game has anywhere around 20 missions (as they say it's similar to Hitman 2 in terms of total missions?) that could extend my playtime a day or so. even conservatively i would imagine if that Hitman 2 missions claim is true then you would think 16-17 missions minimum. so if there is 17 missions that's still roughly 4 more than the last couple of hitman games basically as even though Blood Money had 13 you might as well say it was a bit less than that.

and since ill probably be playing it on purist mode (or something similar) that will extend the time it takes to get through it the first time since reloading of missions is inevitable. i usually play mostly stealth but i don't restrict myself to Silent Assassin on a first play through since, at least for me, doing that tends to dull your enjoyment slightly (like as far as initial playing goes) since it really limits what you can do as i don't like being TOO restricted on what i do in my first playthrough which usually boils down to me keeping my kills to a minimum but at the same time if i have to take someone out i won't hesitate to much if i can get away with it.

hell, come to think of it... i don't think i finished 'Amendment XXV' (The White House mission) on Blood Money in silent assassin rating. but then again that mission i did not care for as much as many of the other missions in the game in general.

p.s. i would imagine if someone puts the game on the easiest setting and does a 'rambo' they could get through the game the same day they get it.

I sometimes treat Hitman as a roleplay. I play in the character of 47 based on the narrative of the game.

- For instance, in Blood Money he was rather cold and calculated... so I play with more finesse and "clean kills" (syringe, fibre wire, etc.)

- In Silent Assassin, he was frantically searching for Vittorio so I play a bit more brutal, but still stealthy. Using headshots, throat-slits, etc.

- In Absolution, he is betrayed and on the run as well as seeking Absolution. I am still going to play stealthily, but have a bit more violent passion behind the kills. I may use hammers and other violent means to portray the anguish 47 must be feeling.

This 'roleplay' style increases immersion with the games,

Not really. No.

Surely Abeg has had sex! He's in his 30s is he not?

I've seen you make posts about women at times, thus proving you've had sex. Haven't you also claimed to have had sex with the mothers of other members on certain threads?

Unless of course, he is like me, and has voluntarily chosen a life of eternal chastity and virginity.

Why do people constantly make fun of virginity? I'd be happy to have a huge nintendo-pillow to help me control mine.

Proud virgin at 16. Going to be proud virgin at 40.
