Now you're probably thinking its too early to think about dlc ideas. But here is some ideas i would like to see made into dlc

1. Hitman Fan favorite levels. 2-3 Levels from each or so. 8-12 missions in total.
-Codename 47 Levels
-Silent Assassin Levels
-Contracts levels
-Blood Money levels
Though with the HD collection incoming who knows if this could go through.

2. The Preorder suits. And if i was to put a price on it .99 Cents sound fair for each?
-High Roller
-High Tech
-Public Enemy
Though i read somewhere that the preorders were "Early Access" so i dont know if it will be unlockable or for future dlc.

Thanks for reading and leave a reply if you have any ideas that you would like to see! :D

Fuck DLCs.

To an extent i can agree. *Cough* Capcom *Cough* But if done correctly dlcs could bring alot to the playingfield.
Plus keep in mind i dont mean this to be like Day 1 dlc this is like months down the road.

DLC is not a bad thing basically, if it's in the same quality and scale like the new episodes for Fallout 3/New Vegas or deniable ops missions for SC Conviction.

I would love a bunch of new missions 5-6 month after the release. IO surely has some ideas and non-used level-concepts in the drawer.

I'm fine with DLCs only if the concept is applied correctly as DLCs are supposed to add to the main experience but the lack of it must affect it in any way so more missions (not story related missions), wepons, costumes at a price are always welcome as you will be paying for somthing you want and you don't need, but to put something that has a certain effect on the main experience like story related content and making us pay for it (I'm looking at you Bioware), as it is something we need to have the complete experience which should be already included in the main game is something I'm very much against

If it is for free i'd get it. 60 dollars is already too much for a game.

Levels would be the best option. Some hits and others like the sniper challenge.

BTW, have you guys seen it? -> http://www.eurogamer...o-be-ashamed-of

DLC levels would work well with this game. If they were in, say, a pack of three and loosely related; that would be an ideal set-up.. (one mission on its own would feel odd)

(example. an equivalent of the japan levels in H2 could be in one DLC.) Minimum story needed. You could just say, here's a few hits 47 did in bla bla before the events of blood money. Throw in a few visual clues and ties ins that hark back to things from the main game (like, say you visit a theater in the main game you could have posters of the theater in the level). The less levels in the pack, the more dense and in-depth with the amount of things you can do and for replayability it should prob be. Like the sniper thing, theres only one level but lots of detail (I gather).

Pre-DLC, the game would benefit from and arcade/challenge mode, where you can replay hits without the story, (and possibly with more in-depth scores and stats). In Tenchu they had this replay system in one of the games where you had variations to the levels. When you picked a level to replay, you chose option 'A' 'B' or 'C', each one had the same level layout and objectives, but the different letter moved around the guard positions and patrol routes. You could do each in turn and get a different score for each layout. I think this would work well in adding more replayability already and make it easier to integrate DLC levels into the system.

I like that arcade idea! i would also say something like mission creator and a way of sharing the best missions and so forth

then that's exactly what I mean, something to add to the experience but but doesn't affect it in a bad way if it isn't there

Mission packs makes the most sense to me. Remade oldschool Hitman levels would be cool, but kind of redundant now that we know the HD Collection is coming out.

I hope the DLC is actually useful and meaningful.

I don't want to see the generic crap... like new weapons and such. Or something as ridiculous as DLC clothing in a game that is based on changing clothes frequently.

I agree with the norm of this thread, bonus missions are always welcome.

I would like to see immersive multi-part missions.

What would be an awesome DLC?

A bonus mission that is voiced by Bateson. Just to bring the nostalgia back. I'm sure we may become numb to his absence in the plethora of adventure H:A will offer, so a mission in his voice will be unlock memories of the earlier games, what priceless treasures those memories are.

Remade oldschool Hitman levels would be cool, but kind of redundant now that we know the HD Collection is coming out.

I'm not sure if it would be that redundant. An HD remastering will be pale in comparison to the missions rebuilt on a newer robust engine.

Theoretically, Contracts could be considered an HD remake of C47 (for some missions). Not on a new engine, but made several years later with refined graphics.

If Hitman: Professions or whatever is a collection of remakes, then scrap the "Fan Favorites" idea but it'd still be cool.

If they made an outfits pack, they could go above and beyond the already known pre-order outfits. If I could cobble together some cool as well as silly outfits/skinds:
- High Roller Suit
- High Tech Suit
- Public Enemy Suit
- "Classy" T-Shirt (those short sleeve shirts made to look like a tux lol)
- Requiem Suit (White Suit)
- Blood Money Suit (Striped Tie, Striped Shirt)
- Detective Suit (Trench Coat)
- Pimp Suit
- Ninja Suit

Something like that. It better be cheap for just skins though.

DLC can be okay. Maybe a mission pack (containing 1 or 2 missions) that could come out every 4 or 6 months or so would be cool.

I'm a fan of the mini-campaign idea. 3 missions, loosely tied together. Kind of like the two Mississippi or two Vegas missions in BM...maybe 3 missions tied together? This could be really cool. If it wasn't too much work...maybe 2 interim linear missions to tie them together a bit? Though...if that'd mean the other missions would lose tightness and being as good as possible...it's not needed.
