I'm playing vintage year with a different approach this time :

1. Accident wandering guard into the lake
2. Snipe Don near Balcony (some guards heart it and come running but I'm already gone with the rifle suitcase till then)
3. Kill Manuel by injecting Poison and Hiding his body
4. Accident Another guard into lake near plane
5. Escape

My status then shows :

Total Kills : 2

Close Kills : 1 WHY ?

Shot Fired : 1

Shot Hit : 1

Ranking : Professional

Noise 1 BOX

WHY ?

Is poisoning Manuel considered a close kill? Do you kill him by the big vat of wine & hide his body in the case conveniently located nearby?

Is your rifle silenced? That might be where the noise is coming from. I think it counts because it's a shot heard, regardless if anyone saw where it came from.

yeah I can see about the close kill thing and I always Hide his body and no my rifle ain't silenced but that shouldn't affect SA Rating ? What about the body found ? Do guards see Don dead in the balcony ? that's the only thing I can think of for now

I thought that an un-silenced rifle did effect SA rating??? If I remember correctly, there is a guard patrolling the rooms the Don walks through.

Is it possible the doors weren't able to close after you shot him because his body was in the way?

Yup Good Point mate, I didn't snipe DON this time and Got SA, and the guard wasn't patrolling he was sleeping maybe the shot woke him up ?

the easiset way to do this (imo) is as follows;

1. from the start, make your way to the SW corner of the map. open the door. get the wine workers outfit, by sneaking up & knocking him out with the syringe. stash the body in the nearby recepticle. make sure you arent seen.

2a. head towards the winery.

@ the top of the stairs, plant the remote bomb, on the winch, just inside the winery. make sure the patroling guard sees you not.

2b. wait for manuel to enter the winery & watch him for a moment.

he and a friend will decend the stairs to subsequently powder their noses (theres more to this winery than meets the eye) underneath the precariously dangling wine casks. after a while, they will leave, and will return to exit back out of the winery, as all AI in blood money follow distinct paths, like most hitman games.

at this point, (important) if the guard is still up where the bomb is, slowly approach him, bump into him ever so gently. this will cause him to follow you. lead him away from the explosion area, and down the stairs. youre actually doing him a favor, although he doesnt know it. the trick is to try to time this as manuel & co. start down the stairs, @ the same time, making sure 47 is not too close to the bomb either.

2c. as soon a all 3 npcs walk past you & down the stairs, carefully whip out the remote detonator.

as soon as manuel stops, & turns to go towards the area underneath the casks, let fire the remote detonator. if you time it correctly, the explosion will cause the casks to fall & will hit only him, & the above explosion will not kill the guard, potentially ruining the S.A. rating by killing an innocent. make sure to holster the detonator!

3. exit the area (dont run, especially if you forgot to holster the detonator) & make your way to the hacienda on the map.

there is a drain pipe you can (steathfully, dont get spotted or you blow it) use to climb up to the 2nd floor. while sneaking, enter through the open window, make your way across the hall and through a door into where sr. is practicing his chello, alone. you know the drill. firbewire his ass (poison works too) from behind. toss his lifeless body into the ravine below the balcony. carefully go back the way you came, & back down the drainpipe. stealth, again, is essential.

4. make your way back to the winery & enter, continue deeper inside, past where manuel had his tragic "accident".

after awhile, youll come to a secret door, hidden in the very large wine casks up against a wall. it should be an AoI (area of interest) on your map, depending on the difficulty. running is not recommended at all through this area. find & take the elevator down to the lowest level, & to freedom via the pontoon plane & the S.A. rating.

i dont have a video capture device or i would have just made a video; as this is somewhat complex to describe, especially the manuel hit.

Isn't there a guard watching that drain pipe? Or is he napping?
