We all know that the movie is, in other words, absolute crap and this as become a rule for videogames made into movies, with one or two exceptions, they are terrible. In my opinion games are too big to be shrinken into 1.30 2.00 hours of film and then they think that beacause of that it's better to make a completly different plot, but if instead of movies we had a television series?
I think we could have more success, what's your opinion?

I got a feeling it would have the same bullshit as the movie. Cause in all honesty it will be a action ridden dump.
Plus who would fund this? Fans of the game? If you let anyone other than a fan do this show its gonna suck some major genitals.

I agree with you, why don't the producers reach out to fans in order for guidance? We know the games better than some idiot who writes their own story.
If they had some sort of guidance I believe many movies and TV series from games would be much more succesfull and more truthfull to the game's plot.

Lets take the hitman movie for example. Lets say they did reach out to the fans and fixed it of all its flaws. A average movie goer wouldn't give two shits if it was good to the game. Only if it catches their eyes and keeps them interested. If you look at the movie from a action movie stand point id say its above average still a cookie cutter plot and gunplay. But from the fans perspective it was shit. but fans only make a small percent who watch the movie. Why cater to the fans and make 1 million when you could fuck up the story and make 2 million/

I understand what you're saying, and it's true, from an action movie point of view it's good flick, not an awesome movie but still good.
That's why I say instead of movies they should try TV series, they have more time to explore the story, the characters, everything. The should make a pilot and see what ratings thay have, ih it's successfull then make 12 episodes.

Those are better than what I expected to be honest, but I was thinking about real and not animated, with Bateson and Mckee doing their roles as 47 and Diana.

From what ive seen i don't think Bateson and Mckee will ever return. Just like Salem and Rios wont return to army of two. Now it's Alpha and Bravo.

How about if it were in CGI? Similar to the trailers we've been seeing for Absolution.
It would be within the same timeline as the game series, but each episode would focus on a different hit. Each having it's own conflict and unique story. If this were the case, I would consider checking it out.

That's actually a very cool ideia Best For Hire, it could work well, but once again it has to been done properly wich from what we have seen soo far it's not brilliant.
47 doing hits, getting intel from Diana, doing some sniping, some silent kills, it could be awesome in my opinion.

This would be really cool. If done right, of course, which I would doubt.
