Freelancer PC black screen in safehouse weapon room

Before anything here is my specs:
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6 Core
RAM: 32GB
OS: Windows 10 64-bit
Graphics: Radeon RX 480

So as the title says, I suffer from frequent black screen crash (graphic driver crash from what I check) almost everytime I attemp to go into the weapon display room in the safehouse, and framerate in the safehouse is generally choppy.

I know that my pc build is a bit old for a relatively new game, however i have been playing all other modes just fine with low-medium graphic setting. And for Freelancer I have tried to reduce all graphic setting to absolute minimum, which allows me to play mission (only tried one mission so far) in freelancer without issue, but it is always in the safehouse that performance gets worse and specifically the weapon room that cause crash.

I dont know why that room specifically, and I have minimized all setting that I know, updated all drivers I can. So if anyone has similar issue or know about these stuff please tell me what I can do, I just want to try this mode out a bit.

Did you lower all graphics settings to very minimum?

  • Try to lower game resolution as well, also try windowed mode.
  • Try to clear shader cache by deleting contents of the folder C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\IO Interactive\HITMAN3\ or delete this folder completely
  • Try to fully reintall graphics card drivers. You can do so using DDU utility.
    To do this properly, boot your PC in a safe mode and launch the utility with admin rights.
    After it does its job, boot PC normally and intall the latest graphics driver as a clean installation

Thank you so much for the tips. I have done all what you suggested and I have been running around in safe house completely fine without any crashing, even when I switched back fullscreen, max resolution. Still a bit choppy framerate especially in the weapon room but not a big deal. Reinstalling graphic drivers seemed to be the trick.
