I read about it here in Norway and i just shake my head, first he is doing a foolish thing and when s*** is about to hit the fan, his anti-abortion is thrown overboard, looks like pro life dosen’t count when it comes to themselves.
LMAO @ your “solution”. The only thing you’d manage with that shitty ass “solution” would be more murderers, not less.
It’s like a dialogue from the beginning of a highly philosophical novel
brazil has heavy gun control and gun murder happens there every day ¯_(ツ)_/¯
yeah, a country in development known for having corrupt officials is such a great example for sure
guess there shouldn’t be anti-corruption laws either, corruption happens everyday ¯_(ツ)_/¯
hell why even have murder laws? it also happens everyday ¯_(ツ)_/¯
you must think you’re so clever
You’re the guy that thinks that stuff shouldn’t be illegal because people still do it, so i think you’re the one that sounds so very clever.
Hell if you fucking researched your fucking shit you would see that as disarmement and toughening of control laws has increased, FIREARMS RELATED DEATHS HAVE GONE DOWN IN BRAZIL
But who gives a shit about facts am i rite? GUNS GUNS HURR DURR GIVE THEM TO EVERYONE HURR DURR
yo dawgs how about we chill out a bit
another study observing big effects one damn year after some major gun control laws were passed there, now in english
chill it’s just an internet argument lol
Unfortunately, posts like these are a great example of what not to do when having a discussion – no matter how strongly you feel on a particular issue.
Have a glass of water and stroke your cat, take a breath… and then engage cordially with others.
You may want to check more recent numbers than 2004.
The study I posted on that exact post is more recent than 2004.
I should’ve quoted your follow-up. My mistake.
The point, however, is that the numbers have shifted in recent years.

"Gun crime murders have been dropping in the states of Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo but rising in the north and northeast of the country."
Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo are the zones where gun regulation is enforced most strictly and properly. If anything, it only shows the rest of the country needs to catch up to it.
Homicide rate and gun homicide rate are different things.
The original film flopped at the Box Office too. It’ll stand the test of time.
