In hindsight forcing to make your newly divorced husband to record albums for you might not have been the best idea. Luckily it resulted in Motown’s weirdest album and one of their best.
It’s always a good day when one of your all time favourites releases new stuff.
Emma Ruth Rundle & Thou released an album together last year, and today they released an EP which includes this sludge-metal cover of Hollywood by The Cranberries - which absolutely slays.
Since I’ve started to play original Doom, I became obsessed with its music. Bobby Prince did one hell of a job on games soundtrack and avoiding copyright at the same time. I’m especially in love with TNT’s soundtrack, which wasn’t made by him, but 4 different people but they did amazing job with it. It became my favourite soundtrack from all comercially relased original Doom games. Highlights include Death’s Bells, Let’s kill at will and Legion of the lost. Too bad TNT itself got short end of the stick in Doom music and was forgotten - quite a few of its tracks are better than Prince’s own.
Cosmic America music. It is what Gram Parsons called his music
