I cannot praise that song enough. I absolutely love it.
It was a rejected submission for the James Bond film with the same name’s soundtrack, the song was later used on Hitman: Blood Money, made by (of course) IO Interactive.
Hm… James Bond, IO Interactive? Perhaps this song has a chance to make it into Project 007…
Of all the Bond films, Tomorrow Never Dies has arguably the most troubled production history behind it, and it seems like that also touched having to choose a song. Originally it was going to be Surrender, which was co-written by the film’s composer David Arnold was relegated to the end credits, while Sheryl Crow’s song Tomorrow Never Dies became the main theme because they wanted a bigger name than K.D. Land who sung Surrender. So I for most fans, TND is the one Bond film with 2 theme tunes.
Interesting stuff I think as well.
I’m stunned I haven’t learned about these guys sooner. Still amazing how wide spread hip hop is adopted by nearly every culture.
Alright. I know this is a general music thread But I’m curious: Do you listen to music while playing Hitman? If so: What music.
I always just had the in-game music on. But today I started playing while listening to Johnny Cash. Was somehow quite fitting.
For certain type of games like Hitman, no. I prefer to be submerged in the atmosphere as that’s part of my enjoyment. I do sometimes play music when playing games like Mortal Kombat or AC. Valhalla though.
I’m stuck in my 80’s pop loop.

This is basically my weeding playlist
Just finished the anime Girls’ Last Tour. When searching for a specific song that played at the end of an episode, I came across this mashup. I may not understand a single word, but it is a bop.
