Gen V was when the music peaked this should be evident by the absolute bop that is Driftveil City.
Gen IV did more with the music in the series then any other Generation.
- Poké Center (Night)
The Sinnoh Region is the only Region that has Day and Night variants for their OST. The somber tone felt very appropriate for the series especially places of safety such as Towns/Poké Centers
- Cynthia’s Theme
I couldn’t simply say this is Number 2 on the “do I hear boss music?” scale for Pokémon Music. One word only Garchomp.
- Champion/Trainer Red Theme
This is a remake, but while HG/SS is the blueprint when you consider the perfect Pokémon Game/Remake your journey in HG/SS doesn’t really end after the credits, but after your fight on Mount Silver since the fight is considered the hardest in the game next to Cynthia in both the Sinnoh games and B/W.
