RIP Robin Williams

#2

O’ Captain my Captain R.I.P

#3

Damn, R.I.P.

But leaving your family and everyone who loves you by suicide? Come on…

#4

Nanu Nanu :frowning:

This a great loss to us all. R.I.P.

I know we like to paint people who commit suicide as “selfish”, but Williams was exhibiting a particularly severe symptom of this incurable disease. Depression is not a choice. It’s an illness that manifests itself in many ways, including self harm.

I’m upset about this. He seemed like a sweet guy and brought a lot of laughter into people’s lives.

The death of Robin Williams saddens me greatly. Obviously I didn’t know him personally, but the parts he played have still effected my in my life. I remember watching old Mork & Mindy reruns as a kid, and the first time I realized a lot of the genie in Aladdin was Robin’s improv blew my mind.

He was a great man. Sadly it seems he was tormented by clinical depression. I will be re-watching a lot of his movies in the coming days.

I can’t think of anything to say. This is terrible. He will be missed. Rest in peace.

Rest in peace, Lauren. I will always enjoy your work with Bogie and beyond.

“James Bond Villain Richard Kiel Dies at 74” :frowning:

Richard Kiel, the 7-foot-2 actor who most famously played the villainous Jaws in two James Bond films starring Roger Moore, The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker, and also appeared in Adam Sandler comedy Happy Gilmore, died Wednesday afternoon in a hospital in Fresno, Calif., three days shy of his 75th birthday.

Hollywood is loosing some of it’s great character actors. :frowning:

And he was such a nice and modest bloke in real life. This is one bleak year we’re having, legendary stars just keep piling up. Like WTF?

#16

Rest in peace Mr. Larson

#18

Through last years Leslie Nielsen’s death was the most saddening to me. Comedy movies won’t be the same without him.

RIP Leonard Nimoy
