Wow! I enjoyed watching the showcase. Seems to be a real blend of what you can do though I do think there will be some missions that will have us be loud and visible no matter what.

IO is already after your money. If you want the full game with all DLC/unlocks/items/whatever, you’ve gotta buy this AND the Legacy edition.

I skimmed the showcase, trying my best to preserve some surprise.
The beginning of the mission was very Hitman. We have a threat ring, distractions, emetic poison, all the good stuff. Bond having more quips in-world because he is deliberately more of a character than 47 could be good or repetitive. We’ll see.
They skipped ahead with “Inevitably” into the action linear portion. The franchise is supposed to have Hollywood action with driving and shootouts, but I wonder how replayable those sections are? How different can the chaotic action be? I can’t imagine you’d be able to bypass many of these set pieces with stealth tactics.
I’m interested, but especially with adopting the new normal price of games I’m hoping I can wait for a sale. There are not many games I feel are worth CAN$100.

I hope/think, that this was pretty scripted because it is the first mission in the game. So you get to do everything in it, infiltrate, car chase, action, explosions, fight on a plane etc. If later missions are more “open” that shouldn’t be a problem, but the car chase and the whole get to the plane thing seem pretty straight forward without much other possibilities. What they showed in the second part of the presentation looked more like you can choose your own way.

Looks like 007 might be always online again. The PlayStation Store listing doesn’t have the “Offline play enabled” tag and also has, mostly, the same tags as WoA.

Gotta say those four outfits are nice picks (especially happy about the RN uniform which I was hoping to see), but the skeleton outfit is the one from the beginning of Spectre. Though I suppose that was meant to be a reference to Samedi?
Haven’t watched the showcase - might skim through it tonight - but I can’t say I’m liking how in-game content is once again being spread across half-a-dozen different “editions”, with no indication how and if it will become available for everyone regardless of platform.
Oh and enjoy your empty game cases with nothing but an online activation code whoever’s buying it.

The IOI team have taken a very hard inspiration for Outfits based on the Craig Era. Everything I’ve seen I’ve been able to pinpoint what film an outfit appeared with the only exception being the Royal Navy Commander outfit which was part of the characters outfits in the “Pre Craig” era of Bond Films since that Bond was just the same man being played by multiple actors.
Not really meshing well with the whole various editions having exclusive unlocks but I fully expect them to be added at a later date for everyone to purchase or unlock.

Should be either the one Connery has in You Only Live Twice or Brosnan’s from Tomorrow Never Dies (though I can’t recall Connery having a cap with it, so more likely the latter?).
