Interesting to see the sillouette of Bond wearing a trenchcoat, I was expecting the classic tuxedo look. Feels very Lucas Grey-esque in that way, makes sense since it’s a game about his origins and everything. I see the game is set to release in 2026, that’s great too. I assumed it was still a few years off. Can’t wait to get more info on this, hopefully there’s no delay or anything.

Well… It’s either an early 2026 release (ie January) or right at the other end (November/December) then.
Otherwise GTA VI is going to kill it.

To be fair Infamous prequel did it first 
& in case they object , I propose " First Licence " (to kill) 
The first ever IOI showcase will be at 4am June 7 for me in Greece and I ll probably have to watch it next morning. At Denmark , IOI’s headquarters , it will be at 3am. Hell , even in Britain , 007’s birthplace , it will be shown at 2am !!! I get that they should keep the hype after the Summer Game Fest but these time schedules are “cruel” for most Europeans and seems to better serve mostly Americans… I hope upcoming presentations will be shown at more convenient times for more gamers !!!

We could hope for an early 2026 release, because with Hitman 3 they had a very tight 6-month campaign from reveal to release, and it was their most successful entry. But maybe they need longer with a new franchise and all.

Odd choice of name considering Infamous already used it.
I wonder if David Bateson and Jane Perry make an appearance. Maybe just as an cameo, but I expect atelast some VA’s from WOA to make appearance.

I mean, it’s easier for IO to reach to people they already know to have them voice characters in another project. I totally expect to hear Elsie Bennett or Derek Hagen as some NPC’s in game. But Bateson and Perry’s cameo would be nice.
We can just leave a thank you to Sucker Punch in the credits. Like the thank you to DC in the Karate Kid’s credits.
Get a Craig cameo in the game and we can recycle, “LOOK, DANIEL! SHE’S NICE!”

This is a dream finally coming true for lots of people at IOI. A project that was cooking for years and i’m happy to see that they finally got the greenlight to make it happen 
007 “First Light” sounds like a good title. The idea to get to the beginning and earning the 00 status with a new and unknown protagonist is an interesting concept 
I know that the latest HITMAN game got heavily influenced by Bond, and even served as a prototype to convince the Bond producers to allow the studio to make a videogame. The result was alright but we lost a part of 47 and its universe in the process 
Maybe 47 will also somehow influence the Bond universe in his own way? 
I’m not as interested into Bond videogames as 47 and HITMAN (except maybe Goldeneye 64) but i’ll take a look into it for sure, just to see what is IOI perspective on the Bond universe and a new game, especially after all those years negociating with the producers to get the rights to make a videogame around it. There’s definitely potential to make something great and original for once 
I’m curious to see how IOI will make a 007 videogame knowing that they made one of my favourite games ever: the Hitman franchise 
Looking forward to take a look into it, but with some distance though…

I’d check out Blood Stone it’s a good idea of what we got with Craig’s era as bond. It’s fun within reason but it’s far from a perfect game.

I haven’t played any bond game since Agent Under Fire and Nightfire both of which I loved profusely.

I’ve seen most of them all, but it’s not that appealing
It’s mostly games made after a movie got released more than a real 007 experience.
Mostly a combination of action-packed movie scenes more than a whole game of its own.
Bloodstone was an interesting idea (especially with Daniel who was amazing as 007) but far from a good James Bond game imo.
I think Nightfire/Agent Under Fire is the “best” so far without counting Goldeneye 64.
IOI has now the occasion to fix this and make something unique and greater than before without relying on a single movie/character
I think we are all hoping for something like Nightfire or Everything or Nothing at the very least.
Is this the first time we have had a whole cloth original Bond? Like no movie actors to capture, no movies to follow and no book material being adapted?
