The best sniping contract i’ve ever played*!***!**1

image
Please, for the love of all that is holy, name it “Lifeguards off DUTY” (if you select it). I didn’t notice the typo until after I created it and I don’t know if I’m more embarrassed or enraged…
image
Also, it is supposed to say: “None are pushed harder than THE lifeguards” and “but THEY must do so with fewer than ten guards”, thank you.

Contract ID: 3-26-4977938-59
Submitted By: Krkkit2012
Platform: Xbox
Location: Haven Island
Description: In order to maneuver these targets to a toilet, you’ll need some combination of emetic darts, syringes and/or “fart briefcases” as you can bring in, no ingestables, either brought in or found, will help you. And, since inventory space is limited, you have very little margin for error to administer the poisons. No sniper rifles or traditional guns here but your aim must still be true. There’s going to a lot of sniping but how much choking on vomit? This still requires accuracy so it’s all up to you to do the right thing.

I prefer the first one or the second one but any variation of any of these will do nicely.

Platform: Xbox

Submitter name: _jrok (gamertag JRok261)

Contract Title: High Time

Briefing: Hello 47. Your next targets are two drug runners visiting Sapienza under the guise of a fishing trip. They are in fact planning to purchase a new product from a seemingly innocent junkie living in the town hall. A dishwasher in the downstairs cafe is in on the deal, presumably as the middleman for the exchange. Our client claims the formula was stolen from him, and believes that it could be a game changer in the global trade. As such, he wants us to prevent the deal without raising suspicion…

Brief Description: I prefer to create open ended contracts that allow the player to choose their methods and experiment. While the target conditions are open, there is an optimal method that fits the Hot Scope theme. Though the targets are on opposite ends of the map, there are actually multiple single vantage points that each allow you to snipe all four targets without going near them, and achieve silent assassin.

Location: Sapienza

Contract ID: 3-12-7288313-34

Platform: Xbox

Submitter name: _jrok (gamertag JRok261)

Contract Title: Staff Infection

Briefing: The death of Rico Delgado initiated a power grab in the cartel drug trade, leading the Moreno cartel to close in on Colombian turf. Hector Delgado has contracted ICA to eliminate a Moreno narco who has infiltrated his staff undercover, as well as a number of sicarios who have been turned to the opposition. Hector has identified 4 targets within the compound, however his own men are not to be harmed. It’s unclear why Delgado turned to us, but drug money spends as well as blood money…

Brief Description: Also an any/any contract, but a Hot Scope is still optimal: This is effectively a sniper contract - all targets can be eliminated from the scaffolding entrance, but you will need some cleverly placed distractions and accurate timing to allow for silent assassin.

Contract Title: Watching over you
Briefing: Well, 47, some real holle is bound to break out here in a bit.
We have identified 4 dangerous individuals who have been putting microchip trackers in the Club’s drug and food supply. I shudder to think what they are planning to do to their victims.
Your task is to “watch over them” from above, if you know what I mean, and just to prove you’re the best sniper out there, try to get 'em all in the heads.
Happy hunting.
Brief Description: Whew, I barely managed to get this done in time. There’s 4 targets to take care of using 47’s amazing sniper skills, one by a falling object, others by headshots. Hope you guys like it

Another example why we desperately need a contract edit tools.
At least simple name and description one. Okay, the delete button wouldn’t be excess too.
@Clemens_IOI @Travis_IOI please see and consider for the next game updates

Brief description:

  • It’s a five target contract, spread around the winemaking facility, the kill condition for all of them being pistol (not sniper like most of the contracts here :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: ).
  • There are spots to shoot the targets from distance if you have a good accuracy and want to be fast, but it might be tricky, as there are quite some eyes around (but hey, that’s the theme, right? :slightly_smiling_face:)
  • Multiple starting locations are viable, all quite evenly balanced (waiter, grape field, shrine, asado)

@Krikkit2021 ,here’s a tip, if your taking photos with the camera, take the photo then hide the menu by pressing y. Or if you’re not taking pics with camera, go to options menu and get rid of all hud. It might not matter for you, but i think i have OCD or something. PS i hate when i misspell my contract.

I did one but it was definitely too easy lol. I’ll give it a shot for the next assigment. Can’t wait!

I truly hate it when it happens. My brain is faster than my typing skills, the letters on my phone are too close to each other it’s driving me insane. I feel you.

I don’t think IO ever complied with contract fixes/modifications, like spelling fixes or changing an objective like @DavidG185 asked for. Only if the author was wrong, after releasing the batch.
Better make sure everything is right. I also tend to just recreate a contract if I forgot a letter. Better safe than sorry. One can also use my contract tool to fix typos by recreating a contract.

I agree, I think it’s arrogant to ask the devs to edit your contract. If you see a mistake after submission, just remove your contract and recreate it, simple as that.

Yeah… I heard you @Urben and @Steynkie1. Broaden Your Majestic Scope is a bit too much of an ask. I think I over-scoped it really bad. I don’t mind it with the spelling mistake and keeping it like is shown in-game currently.

But to be honest, I don’t think it really matters. That contract is not getting picked. There’s a lot of good ones in this set. My other contract - The Perfect Problems may have a better chance, but even at that, I can already feel that I am not getting featured. My Heat Stroke ones didn’t fit the theme and even before Hot Scope ones appeared, a lot of negative feedback from Broaden Your Majestic Scope in the Fanmade Contracts thread.

Either I am terrible at making contracts or people just don’t like me on the Forums, or both. If it’s the former, well I have made mistakes but I don’t make contracts that is practically unplayable. After making a contract, I always play them straight away to see if it is playable. I also actually explore the map in Contracts Mode for ideas. If there’s no idea, well… sorry, not making a contract. If it’s the latter, that hurts. I have been on the forums for 1.5 years and also been through a lot in the last 6 months that have hurt me emotionally and mentally. I don’t want to get to the point where I have to leave the forums just because no one likes me. I have created what I believe are good contracts that some people will enjoy. If you don’t believe me, check out my previous submissions on the other Featured Contracts. From Lust to now. Don’t check Pride and Sloth, both are bad and also cannot be accessed since I transferred profiles and Hitman 2 progress after that point. The clear thing is, I am not done with making contracts. I am done with the Hot Scope Featured Contracts submissions, but I am not done in making contracts in general. I love Hitman 3.

I don’t remember exactly what was going on in the other thread but I have no impression anything was personal.
I can only say, try to keep the restrictions minimal and gameplay-focused. If you require a specific 7DS item that has most likely no gameplay reason and instead, while it might add style, is excluding non-7DS owners from the contract. I know IO had such a contract in their own batch but I would not take that as an encouragement.

You can also aways check this thread in case there are helpful ideas to find:

After playing The Night The Duck Cried, it’s this one, surely this one.

Kinda joking but that contract still sucked

(removed by the author)

I’ll take that into account for next time. Hopefully, I won’t be racing to get one done a few hours before I have to get up for work! :crossed_fingers:

That’s why some edit features would go a long way. I know these will sound like excuses but I’ve spent most of the last week fighting with Microsoft about whether or not my Xbox account exists, finally (hopefully) resolved it after a day long struggle right before the deadline, then scrambled to implement my idea right before I went to bed around 2 in the morning before I had to work at 5am because time zones are not my strong suit only for there to be a few typos.

Now, I’m not saying I need the typos to be fixed (though that would be relatively simple); it would actually be just my luck that my first featured contract would have typos. I also don’t think the devs are required to fix anything (especially missed objectives). And I’m ok if it ends up being “Duy” instead of “Duty” because I don’t expect it to get picked anyway.

However, making contracts takes long enough as it is; having to redo everything because I spelled three words wrong seems ridiculous. Even having to remake everything because you didn’t do one or two objectives you wanted (which I’ve also experienced) is also a bit much. Nobody is saying IO is required to adjust any contract after submission but the mode is time consuming enough and final enough that it is certainly not arrogant to ask, particularly while there is currently no in game edit feature of any kind.

Also, @RedSneakyFox, the submissions closed a few hours ago. They still might accept it; they have been known to do that, provided it’s close enough to the deadline on the same day but you’d have to take that up with @Clemens_IOI

Yeah. I know. Will study the Contract Creation Guide that @Urben created and left a link for me to read. After having a quick read, it’s a solid guide that I actually have to bookmark it. :slightly_smiling_face:

Yeah. Now I see why people don’t like The Night The Duck Cried as much. Too many complications and the god damn Required Exit. At least I was being a bit light on the complications in my submissions in both the Heat Stroke and Hot Scope. Still, silly but serious issues can pop up. I am human afterall.

I feel you there, especially if the creation is rather complicated. As I said, my contract tool can help at that, though the setup might be a bit trickier for console.

I have to update the first post for these functionalities but if you are willing to test it and have questions, just ask me.
