While you’re here, I may not be the first person who has said this, but in the blogpost we are told that the purple streak pistol will be unsilenced, is this true or is the item name wrong on the blogpost?
the Purple Streak ICA19 Classic Baller, will also be up for grabs by watching one hour of HITMAN World of Assassination on Twitch between the 12th of December 2024 and the 8th of January 2025.
Well, it does say Classic Baller, and the Classic Baller is an unsuppressed pistol, but the ICA19 is a suppressed pistol and the Classic Baller, if I recall, does not have ICA19 in front of its name, so this does create a bit of confusion, and it could go either way, but I’m inclined to think the unsilenced version.

I’m flattered you consider me some sort of streamer.
I’ve only really ever done it though at a random time on a random day, for fun, just to share whatever Hitman thing I might be playing to whoever on the forum wants to tune in.
Definitely not doing any part of it for profit or subscriptions that would be utterly wasted since I don’t stream enough.
(Plus I think you can only spend money and Sub to people at Affiliate or Partner twitch level. Those who stream fairly regularly.)
(And I’m pretty sure last time I did anything like a stream was a runthrough of Hardcore Freelancer last year in '23)
But hey, I think Drops are a universal feature for any channel no matter the size or frequency, so I’ll maybe get one going if people want to use me as a Purple Gun Drop mule. 
I also nominate @/Casimir0325 (Cassidy. Name outdated). She streams regularly enough I think she qualifies? Or maybe I have all my Sub info wrong, idk.

Honestly, not sure why they go with that rather than Trinity or Base, since for (most) of the other items they have gone with existing lines (base rubber duck, ICA briefcase, base(ball) bat, Streak suit). With this theme in mind, I would have expected the Trinity pistols since those are each themed after a specific game just like the Streak suits are themed after platforms, and the base ICA19 is, like the ducky and bat, a very simple design that is present everywhere in the game and could be given a new purple “flavor” to make it into a Twitch themed item.
Obviously the exception here is the newest suit, which is based on a seemingly random item. Although, I felt like the reason for this one is because it is not a drop, it is a reward for subscribing.
(inb4 the original suit gets removed or something, what with The Disruptor getting the axe)
Edit: This re-skinnned boxer outfit might be being offered as a kind of “consolation prize” for the acquisition method for the original suit being removed, now that I think about it.
So, in the last year, we’ve had three new celebrity elusive targets, and the return of a long-requested one. What I’d like to know is: should we expect more?
I think so! Year 5 is happening (they said they were looking forward to next year in the livestream) and the ET thing has been quite successful for them so I assume they will continue it. They might confirm it if they do a 2025 teaser that says “new elusive targets” like this year’s one.

Yeah it’s going to be a reskin of The Splitter Boxer Suit, not the mr the disruptor underpants one (named the mma suit)(sadly for u). 
Drawing back to this, I hope that the name is just a case of somebody mistyping for the blog post, and not “Classic Baller” being the actual name, since that would create yet another inconsistency with the Twitch item names.
Ah, OK, well that will probably look much better than what I envisioned then. Fingers crossed for it being a red->purple recolor of the suit, rather than a black->purple recolor though. I also hope they do something with the emblems to make the reskin stand out more.
While we’re (loosely) on the topic of the DLC, let’s start some theory crafting about the VHS tape. My money is on it being an audio distraction that also explodes, similarly to Napoleon Blownaparte or The Iconator.

You know what would be a really cool use for the tape? You drop it on the ground, an NPC takes it to the nearest security person, security takes it to the nearest security console to play it and see what’s on it, and it shorts out the security system. No way in hell would they do this, but imagine if they did. For those maps where getting to the security console is almost impossible without a disguise or KOing numerous NPCs (I’m looking at you Bangkok), this would be a neat way around that, with the drawback that it takes up one of your item spaces.
That would be a really cool item! Especially for Bangkok. But as you say pretty unlikely sadly.
Although, @LandirtHome had a similar idea in the other thread, so if two people here have suggested it, it’s plausible the devs at least contemplated the idea…
Personally, I think it might be something like a legal breaching charge (although I don’t know how a tape would stick to a surface like a charge can so maybe not).
Wait, this actually has some credibility, since quarks carry electrical charge. A very very small charge, yes, but that could be tied in to the VHS being an EMP rather than a taser.

Well yes, you would think that anything with a ducky on it is a bomb, but we have several items with ducky designs that are not explosives. (3 guns, a shovel, and 2 suits)
Something to note, apart from the suits, all of the items have some function tied to the “shoot” button…
Can anybody read what it says on the paper there? it looks like “Good Quark Video!” to me, and if so, what if we tried to use it in Sapienza?
It could also be “Good Quark Videos!” or “Good Quark Vid104!”
Edit: After some research, 104 could be tied to the runtime of a video (although it would be a pretty weird runtime for anything other than a movie/home video) or tied to certain models of VHS recorders/players such as the Panasonic NV-104.
