Usually there’s a window of 10 days to give people at least two weekends to play them, dont know if this one will be longer because of the celeb. Sean Bean, if I remember correctly, was live for over a month. It’s weird that they haven’t revealed the exact live period for The Drop.

I have to leave the house like 20 minutes before Drop’s drop and won’t be able to play for several hours afterwards.

Done and dusted in 00:55 SA/SO. Only completed it so quickly thanks to Peacock allowing me to get my exploration/pathing done before it was officially live.

Do you know of any obvious places along his route that present an opportunity to push him over a ledge, or drop a cement bag on him? Preferably where SO is an option?

I dropped the drop on the Drop. He dropped.
I am genuinely impressed by, and appreciative of, the amount of work in the ET. New textures, new patterns, new dialogues, new variations, some small, some large. The Target voice acting itself is actually quite good for a DJ. And I appreciate the story elements it brings to the level.
As for my run, I’m quite happy at what I found. It wasn’t the hinted at story mission (which is hinted at by both Diana, and by the target himself since he starts his loop at the main stairs, where the naked man usually is, and just talks about it).
I wanted to see if the dealer disguise allows to enter the VIP area (it does not). 47 said he wanted to score, knock out, container, the usual.
But wandering this new area, I saw two things going there : one the target goes one the railing (and so does his bodyguard, so beware), and two his bodyguard has a prompt when you have the dealer disguise. So I talked to him, brought him to a secluded location, knock out, container.
I hesitated to continue exploring with his disguise, but the target is an enforcer, and I think I will have more fun exploring another time, safer certainly. Sometimes you need to be decisive.
After that it was the usual for the faulty rail elimination : fuse box, two technicians, screwdrivers dropped by them, sabotage, open door to the DJ booth, threw the screwdriver to attract one of them, knock out, you guessed it container, into booth, Took Control (insert Remedy reference).
The rest is illustrated above.
Things I want to try, and see on my other account :
- looking if a VIP pass exists (maybe the forest, the bus station ?)
- the hinted story mission
- looking if the bodyguard has himself prompts
- looking for a poison opportunity
- everything to do with the new VIP area really
- the disco ball (for the fun)

The Drop was honestly a pretty solid ET. I like the mission story. I like that they made some decent changes to the club. I love that they actually got David Bateson to record new lines, something they haven’t done ever in Hitman 3’s post launch up to this point.
I just really hope The Drop is actually archived in the game down the road. Surely IO would’ve learned from their mistakes with The Wild Card and The Undying.

“Highlights” from my #TeamNoRestarts run. This ended up being kind of boringly straightforward, but I’m kind of grateful for that since it’s been so long…and I was a bit afraid that Freelancer had corrupted my playstyle such that I was going to end up in a massive firefight. 
There are a few opportunities that I’ll have to explore on my alt-account, but overall I’m pleased with this as a first kill.

Don’t you love when you take out like 5 people with a wrench and on the last guard you press silent takedown and he instantly spins around and ruins your SA before getting knocked out?

As a Bodyguard, you’re allowed everywhere on the floor where the target is, the security room + boiler room (?) on the bottom floor.

Linked my account from mobile and first time using twitch app.
Watching first video - Mendie’s live stream, met Tetrafish in the group 
During the view, we witnessed this invisible npc, not sure if it is a temporary issue.
I am in vacation from past week till 6th Nov so away from console and will miss this elusive target.
