Update: Since the Patient Zero Requiem play for free period ended before the campaign, I’ll now accept any interesting runs from the game so I can give the DLC keys to people who don’t already have them.
IOI has given me three (3) Trophy Duck codes, two (2) Patient Zero Requiem DLC keys, and one (1) Hitman World of Assassination (Standard Edition) key so far. I want to run a competition to distribute these things to the Hitman WOA community since I already have the Patient Zero DLC and the Deluxe Edition of the game.
Record an interesting run of the Patient Zero Requiem mission (speedruns, strategy, comedy, etc.), upload it to YouTube as a public or unlisted video, then submit your run to the survey link below and answer the other questions by 11:59 p.m. MDT (UTC-6) on March 31, 2026.
I’ll stream the six (6) winners’ content and any other interesting content on Twitch at 6 p.m. MDT (UTC-6) on April 1, 2026. If I can’t reach a winner or they decline their prize, I’ll offer it to the next best run. I may also publish a VOD of the stream on YouTube, and I’ll announce the winners via Discord, Reddit, and Hitman Forum if permitted in the servers/subs/forums where the competition is announced.
I think it’s still in the play for free through April 1. If not, let me know. I assume the keys IOI gave me through the creator program are for the paid part of the DLC.
According to what I can see on the Creator Program back end, I can choose whether they’re for PlayStation, Xbox, or Steam. That’s why those options are listed on the survey.
Hello, on the off chance I do win something I no longer need PZ:Requiem as I have very generously been given a code by Neconaid here. Not sure if the window to submit a PZ:R run is closed by now though.
Since only seven (7) people entered and I earned more things to gift, everyone who entered the competition received a reward. The only ones who didn’t receive a reward were those who earned them through other competitions or bought them before I could offer them their rewards. I’ll stream the results in an hour since that’s what I promised, but here’s a list of the competition entrants:
BabaSenki
SASO (THAT)
Anomie
Ashley (SecondShaun)
LostinWeb
Unit47br
Teallen96
Thanks to everyone who entered, and I hope you enjoy your rewards. If you haven’t received your reward, check your DMs for a message from me.
Thanks for the opportunity! Looking at the recording, I noticed some questions and thought I’d give answers.
They gave her “guard” AI so she would fight back. but that also means she’ll do other guard things like bring weapons to the weapon crate.
Yeah, it seems they removed all the other exits. After Ether shows up, a second exit (helicopter in the back garden) is available too.
I’ve done a lot of those. I’ve played the games a lot over the years and my self-imposed challenges went in that direction rather than speedrunning. Here are playlists for the main campaign, Patient Zero, Sarajevo Six, and most of the side missions, in case you’re interested.
I like how IOI built enough flexibility into the missions that this turns out to be possible, particularly since I think one of their level designers said in an interview that they don’t even intentionally build in SASO routes. One thing I’m not so fond of about some of the ETs, particularly the older ones, is that they don’t have so much of that.
That is exactly, why I love this game so much. It gives you all the freedom you need to find your own playstyle and tons of options to make your own challenges depending on that playstyle; or change your playstyle, try different styles, find out new things and so on. The journey never really ends.
Thanks to getting a copy of the DLC from this contest, I was able to go back and record the video I intended to originally: SASO, no KOs, no loadout, storyline with minimal infections.
It’s kind of long because I included a lot of the storyline dialog. There’s a timeline in the video’s description that should allow skipping to the important parts (basically, 14:25–18:09 and then 25:53 on).
