I was trying to beat “Tyler, the Contract Creator” earlier and ran into a weird issue. When I smuggled the Sawed-off Bartoli 12G into the map (green container smuggle spot) and used it, the execution of the target wouldn’t register properly. The game would always tell me, that I didn’t use the correct weapon, even though I did. When I used the sawed-off from the nearby crate however, it worked as expected. According to their names these are the exact same weapons.

What is going on here? Do you guys have the same issue?

Some discord members were having the same problem, i have no idea if that was intentional and if that’s a bug or not, Switchers your man there!

Maybe it’s two different weapons with the same name but different IDs. The same thing happened with the pirate costume. You can start in a pirate disguise, find one on the location and change. But you can’t change back.

Someone commented on my YT run about the same issue, yeah, not that I checked but I can tell that the shotgun has 2 different IDs for the in map version and for the loadout version, sad I didn’t checked it prior to making the contract but if I’m being honest, it is completely unnecessary to smuggle that shotgun considering how close the in map shotgun actually is, it’s a waste of the smuggle you could use to smuggle other items.

Seems a bug, but on the other hand smuggling a gun will not have that taste of the puzzle :smiley:

Sorry if this is already known… There is a sawed off shotty in that crate that’s in a small shed by 2 welder/worker guys. That’s a good place to shoot that particular target from too.

Thanks for all your replies. It‘s good to know that I‘m not the only person with this issue and that it is a bug in the game.
In the end I used the gun on the map and was able to finish the contract with full five stars.

I used all of last month’s contracts to complete the challenges for the Stadia unlocks. I was playing the contracts and the challenges were available, so it saved me going into the campaign missions.
