Reskinned Carpathian Mountains to be an actual level would be really good. Make the map more enjoyable gameplay-wise

Could, but Hawkes Bay is the best we’ll get

Don’t forget Snow Festival for winter/Christmas as well.

Also, a Lunar New Year event for Chongqing would be awesome, but if an escalation (hybrid or otherwise) is all we get extra for that location, I will be pissed

No one ever accused people of intelligence, especially people with too much time and money on their hands.

And some of those restrictions didn’t even impact how you played because you weren’t doing them in the earlier levels anyway so some ā€œescalationsā€ just ended up with essentially the same overall objective 2 or 3 levels in a row. Probably what soured a lot of people on the escalation format in the first place…

As long as it as Contracts Mode and more than Five Male and Female Civillian Models, it’ll be fine.

I haven’t read through the entire thread, mainly because I don’t want spoilers on where the four frogs are (one more to go!).

But is there an actual explosive on this level anywhere? Not counting the propane flask. I feel like if there’s a challenge to blow up a mole hole, there should be an explosive somewhere in the map and you shouldn’t have to bring one in.

I believe there is one in the guard’s break area near the sniper rifle

What surprised me about this escalation was how much I enjoyed playing a normal ā€œboringā€ mission again.

We’ve had so many escalations come with a bunch of silly gimmicks and restrictions, this one felt fresh just for having none of that.

I liked the F7SC contracts for the same reason.

Ah-ha, yes thank you, that makes sense. I went up there on my first run, saw the sniper rifle, saw that there was no way to get to a sniper vantage point, and never went back over there.

More importantly, confirmation that there’s an explosive on the level is confirmation that IOI designed this challenge properly.

HITMAN 3 Outtaspace Garden Show Dartmoor - The Invisible Elevator - YouTube Look at that😁

In terms of Halloween: Hawke’s Bay
And in terms of Christmas: Paris

Two events we’ve already gotten in the past, it’s obvious we’re getting those again. And Halloween comes first, so…

But in terms of NEW future events, free or not, who knows, but the fact that we got 2 free random ā€œeventsā€ in Hitman 3 compared to the One in Hitman 2 (that came out a couple months after launch), it certainly seems like something IOI is more interested in giving and exploring as free content, instead of things like Challenge Packs

(Challenge packs, which in my opinion, were only used to fill out a need for rewards, no matter how redundant they may have been. Wow, a breakable violin? Or a feather duster? Or another knife? Challenges to unlock new things are great, but is it worth it if you’re barely gonna use it vs. stuff we already have?)

In the past few months I have criticized iO a lot, but credit where credit is due: The Garden Show is awesome!

Although only an escalation - it feels and plays like Hitman. Unlike the complete failure of the Easter Event - I know many people liked it, but for me it was a big disappointment and just bad on so many levels - the Garden Show seems to go back to the main game routes and rules.

No saving sucks still, yes.
But - unlike the Easter Escalation for example - there is no long intro or preparation phase and - unlike the, let’s say, Easter Episode - the single levels aren’t very long or might even have risky parts with a high chance of failure after already dealing with previous targets. Oh God I hate the Berlin Egg Hunt so much. So, so much.

Also, the misison offers freedom. I’m not even talking about the random targets or the Contracts mode, I mean the sole mission itself: ā€œThese people have to die.ā€ That’s how it should be - look for ways, have an eye for opportunities, try different things. You don’t fail just because you did not chose the right method to kill (which not only is annoying but also takes the fun out of finding good ways), also you can - believe it or not! - use disguises. Like in a real Hitman game. Unlike, hm, for example the Easter Egg Hunt.

So, absolutely everything - pacing, content, targets, limits, overall feeling - is so much better than the last ā€œbonus missionā€ and even way better then all the 7 Sins (released yet). THIS is quality content! (or THAT?)

Also of course, Contracts mode. Awesome! Really, really good.
Thank you, iO - you’ve restored hope! You have shown that you did not forget your game identity over all those insta fail 5$ escalations. You have shown that you are still there, and I could not be happier.

Thank
You

I miss the eggs. I really enjoyed them and wish we could have kept some of them, though, admittedly, the lethal poison one would probably be op.

It seems like the mission traumatized you like Greed and those godforsaken 60 coins did to me.

The lethal egg would be the most OP item ever. Unless they add a Sieger Ghost that shots lethal darts and is invisible.

I enjoyed just how vibrant and colourful the garden show was. It was a good contrast to Dartmoor’s main mission, with its grey mansion, grey walls, grey sky, grey-haired target and Lucas Grey.

Imagine if the same amount of work (had gone) went into (Deluxe Escalations) 7DS…

The show absolutely wonderful, undoubtedly the best drop of content we got since launch.

I’ll agree on that and more of that, it’s free.
Free and best content to date. Best content to date and it’s free.
