Really hope they add more of these in the future for the contracts mode, gonna be very fun making different contracts on this one.
Would be nice to see the daytime version of Mumbai from the special assignments in contracts too, the variety helps a lot when making multiple contracts

I was thinking about this myself. The Special Assignments might not be different enough to warrant their addition, but seeing as theyâre so similar, maybe it wouldnât be too hard to implement? Illusions of Grandeur is the one with the most changes and NPC rearrangements, so I would be for that one alone over having them work on all four.
Holiday Hoarders would be fun for the aesthetics alone, even if its also too similar to Showstopper. The Mills Reverie and Berlin Egg Hunt arenât so off limits as escalations anymore, but they rely a lot on their objective setups, so Iâm not sure whatâd have to be changed to get them working as regular sandboxes.
I think my biggest pipe-dream would be finally having The Author for Contracts Mode, but there must have a reason it never made the jump back when they added The Source. (Was it cause of Jeff? I donât know if there was an actual stated reason.)
Could be messy though having anything from H2 make the jump to Contracts Mode in H3 but not the game it was released on originally.

I donât think they stated any reasons for not including the author or the Mumbai mission, but yeah I was thinking about the author the other day, thatâs another thatâs be fun to play contracts on.

Were there a lot of changes to Mumbai for that? I thought it was pretty much just the Chawl area, on par with Whittleton Creek in Bitter Pill.
Besides the Chawl area, Rangan Tower and the construction around it is completely closed off, so the Dancer and Bollywood Crew disguises are missing and the Painter is moved to the south grounds outside the tower.
The changes arenât as sweeping as they could be, but are more than say A Silver Tongue.

Went on bit of a rampage and threatened the non-target (in my case Evelyn Crane). One of her lines was âGod didnât let me survive that earthquake in Bolivia to go out like thisâ. Is that new or was that always among the lines for random NPCs?

A lot of those choke-out lines are really quite good.
I also really enjoy when non-guard NPCs see you KO/kill another NPC and theyâre all: âAre you crazy?! You could hurt someone doing that?!â
All I can think is: âThat WAS the intention, yes. I COULD even kill them.â

With the Author I think it is due to one of the targets being able to leave the area after a certain of time has passed. The Mumbai map had very little changed just extra guards really.
Shame they couldnât add the Author or Patient Zero in to contracts mode as could be fun free updates to come out. Even if they change up the Authorâs original targetâs routines to go back to what they were after the meeting. The last map just remove the virus mechanic and add couple starting points and exit points.

I do think that the community would probably have quite a bit of fun with some of those scripted pieces. In the Author, the clock bell, meeting and leaving the map would presumably all play out still they could make it to where the contract has to end before whatâs-his-name leaves.
Patient Zero could be fun too if they could enable some things like âkill target before they get infectedâ or something. Dunno.
Possible but idk why that would be different from maps with targets that can evacuate. While we are on the subject the ICA facility boat not allowing you to actually publish contracts for it is another bigger omission.
