Dartmoor Garden Show

The front is different, so that’s a bonus

This unique event is Dartmoor like you’ve never seen it before. With bright skies above, four distinct gardens have been installed in the mansion grounds to showcase the pinnacle of horicultural excellence from around the world. Each garden has been curated by a world-class gardner that will present their best blooms to three judges – who you might recognise as familiar characters from the opening of the Burj Al-Ghazali in Dubai. With unique installations, new gardeners and returning characters as the judges, there’s a lot going on – but we’re just getting started.

The Dartmoor Garden Show will play out as a three stage Escalation on your first playthrough, where a client and accomplice are randomly assigned, meaning that the winner of the Garden Show (which is based just as much on who is alive to claim the prize, as it is based on the quality of the gardens) will be different each time. Once you’ve completed all three stages once, you’ll unlock the Summer Sightseeing Suit , the perfect companion for your future playthroughs.

You’ll also unlock Deterministic Mode , which can be activated by resetting the Escalation back to Stage 1 and choosing a newly-unlocked Starting Location. In this new mode for the Dartmoor Garden Show, we remove the randomised element and give you full control of who should be left alive to claim the prize of Dartmoor’s Greatest Gardner.

Finally, Contracts Mode is fully enabled for the Dartmoor Garden Show, giving you that chance to create your own contracts on any of the NPCs at the event. Craft your own narratives, setup your own challenges and compete for bragging rights with your friends.

Are you seriously comparing Capcom’s budget and human resources to IO?

This is an interesting turn of events. I’m guessing this explains the Escalation / Mission mix-up on the IOI Insider stream because, whilst it might not be a fully fledged ‘Bonus Mission’, there is slightly more to the Dartmoor Garden Show than meets the eye if you just call it an Escalation.

Deterministic Mode sounds promising. One of the most common complaints about Escalations is that they are ‘one-and-done’ tasks. Unlocking a more flexible, sandbox version of the level after completing the usual three stages seems like it could be a good way to introduce a greater degree of replayability.

I think I will agree with you on a highlight.
But first we need to see how all that will play out, don’t we?

I’m eager to play this all day long! Seems will be a lot of fun plus taking as mani pictures of Sunny Dartmoor as possible.

Im in the middle. The game is filled with stuff to do and is polished enough, but at the same time more could be done with game given the price tags and how well it sold. Being a mindless consumer is bad but so is being an IOI reply guy calling the game garbage because they didnt fix a bug nobody uses right away or added paid itens that are more powerful than the tonfa ( im throwing shade at a specific subgroup of youtubers and comments who doesnt use this forum)

THIS. All this. I hate when people compare something that is completed to something similar that’s in progress. It’s a recurring problem everywhere, not just here

This is what I’m most excited about. (And the Lust escalation looks pretty interesting too)

We haven’t really seen any screenshot from inside the mansion. So even if it’s actually accusable, they probably just removed all the unique NPCs but didn’t change anything else. Similar to Bangkok in Patient Zero.

But I’m okay with that. The focus is on the garden and it looks like they’ve changed a lot.

Just seeing that view…mouth watering haha :joy:

Things may have very well changed inside the mansion as well, but either way IOI have done an incredible job with the changes already so either way I’m hyped for this.

If the mansion is accessible, I wish to see Zackrey’s body to be removed… It would look quite strange if not

He loved flowers.

His body has been left in the bed so he can become a flower and be used as fertilizer after the Garden Show. Makes perfect sense.

I’ve seen people make a Silvio Caruso comparison to the suit unlock, but I think it also looks very much like The Silver Tongue, A.J. Krish.

Im quite sure that the shirt on the back was used for both, Silvios being red and AJs being grey. This would make AJ’s suit and the new suit more similar- but bear in mind AJ was not a very memorable target so more people would have remembered and compared it to Silvios clothing.

Which is also a Caruso reskin.

Not really, since Caruso is a 2016 Model and Krish a H2 Model, using a H2 Head TEMP. They reused the PRIM of the Pullover.

Well… no i’m not. Did you see me mentioning budget or resources of any kind? I talked about the planification of a game, it is not a secret that when a big game like Resident Evil is out, dlcs are more likely done. It’s all part of the dedicated fandom mambo.

In any case, i am serious. Always.
